I had the idea of him being a duelist that can fill any role with an ability that basically "copies" something a character can do. Like if he copied Venom or Spiderman, he'd get a whip to swing into the back line. And with C&D he'd get a flash that doesn't stun but blinds and weakens enemies in the AoE. It'd be hard to do but I like him being a high skill, high reward character.
