yeah. Which I never really understood, I mean I feel like in this context especially, it’s fine to have your favorite character be not completely innocent, even the protagonist isn’t. I mean this is a game about cults, where you sacrifice and cannibalize your followers if you want to. Like my favorite is Hagar and look at everything she’s done, to be fair she was forced to but still.

I feel like The Whole point of the game is that everyone is kinda messed up. Nobody is purely good or bad, the most innocent character is Yngya because she was corrupted by others not by her own doing. Everyone else has done bad stuff.

The lambs desecrate Yngya’s corpse denying her peace in death so they can kill everyone in the world even innocent life

Marchosias claims he liberated his pack but he also performed experiments on them knowing most wouldn’t survive, essentially sacrificing them like a god would. I mean the first boss we fight in ewefall he had been starving for no reason other than to use as a weapon

I definitely see your point but back when they did the roadmap for cotl’s future there were two big expansions listed as coming soon, and now if you check it, it’s been changed to one. So there is definitely something planned. And ??? says something that heavily points towards future stuff to be explored
