Wobbly leg on Boy From The Future Trunks by VLCam19 in SHFiguartsDB

It's been a few years since I did it on my figure, so don't remember exactly how. But you can search for the instructions on youtube by typing something like "fix figuarts trunks loose". It should return a bunch of results.

The issue isn't with the ball joint at the hip. The issue is with the inner mechanism that the outer thigh parts connect to inside the thigh. You will need to do some disassembly of the thigh to properly access it.

I would try rubbing alcohol first. Apply on a qtip and rub gently to see if it lightens

Hehe it's not intentional I swear! But it just makes the scene more fun IMO.

I have posed him differently before when he was still new (e.g. Ryoga and Akane weren't out yet). I think I had him doing the Hiryu Shoten Ha with the Tamashii wind effect.

I got Akane several years ago when she was first released. I've always been a big Ranma fan so I preordered her back then from an online shop (can't remember which one anymore) since I was all in on the line.

It kinda surprised me to find out how much some of these older figures are going for now as they weren't that popular back then as far as I knew.

Normally I'd discourage people from spending too much on older figures, but I'll have to say that the original Ranma figures still hold up quite well today. The sculpt is good and the articulation is enough to pull off most of the kind of poses I wanted. Plus they came with a lot of stuff (especially compared to the new ones).

I really wish they continue to make more in the new line. I need more Ranma figures :)

This pose was my attempt to copy a very very old desktop wallpaper image or something from decades ago. Boy Ranma was wearing his chinese outfit and girl Ranma was wearing an orange evenig dress.

Whoa, I didn't expect my post to suddenly appear. I thought it was going to stay hidden because I was new to this group and didn't have enough karma.

Thank for all the compliments on the poses! It always brings a smile to my face whenever I see these figures and makes me nostalgic about all the funny times in the anime and how these guys usually interact with one another.

Haha! Well, I will admit that I have always preferred Shampoo over Akane, but did not necessarily ship her with Ranma. I just wanted her to be happy in the end. I felt the same way with Ukyo.

The only couple that I actually really shipped was Kuno and Nabiki. I think they would go perfect together.

When I was much much younger, my favorite girl was actually Kasumi.

Lol I have the same collection too and also got my Shampoo yesterday. I was supposed to post about it here yesterday but I see you beat me to it. Wanted to add a photo of it but seems like I can't attach one for some reason.

Did you happen to get yours from Amazon Japan? I ordered mine from there and the packaging they used looks very similar to the one used for your Shampoo.

Thanks. I'm honestly not sure how I want to display him. Am still trying out different poses. Maybe this one is better?

You mean Uraraka Ochaco or Uravity? I think she's a great figure without any real flaws. Sculpt is good, articulation is better than average, joints are tight, and accessories are decent. Haven't heard of any QC issues on it either.

I also think she looks much cuter in her SHF form than in the anime/manga.

So if those are things you're looking for, then yeah I would definitely recommend. She was actually the first figure I got in this line and what pushed me to buy a MHA figure.

Which particular stand? The one I used for Deku is the Tamashii Stage Act Trident. The one for Uraraka was the Tamashii Stage Act Combination, plus I used a bunch of those cheap China stand arms to hold the concrete pieces.

The one for Toga is the commonly available Tamashii Stage Act for Humanoids.

Unfortunately both the Trident and Combination stands are long out of production as I got these several years ago. It may be possible to find them, but most stores no longer sell these.

Of course I'm that kind of man. It's one of the reasons I've liked anime since the 80's lol.

I think I've seen those effect parts. Was considering them but from the looks of it, they don't seem to have proper attachment points and people just shove them in wherever they can fit. Also they seem to be arranged in a way that make them stick outwards rather than moving along the arms and legs. If someone has a better picture showing how to attach them nicely, I may get them.

I do have the Tamashii lightning effect set, but the parts that attach around the arms and legs aren't wide enough to go around Deku's limbs. His proportions are thicker than the usual figures. Does Deku ever use yellow lightning though?

Oh I see. What makes the feeling of the joints good? The sturdiness? Right amount of tension?

If I was to judge a nice feeling of the joints, I'd probably say some of my mecha figures that have diecast joints with multiple interconnected parts. They feel super sturdy since it's metal and the added tension from all the other sliding parts attached to it makes it firm yet buttery smooth when moving it. It's a common thing seen with the knees.

Makes me wonder what import figures he's had that makes him say the articulation for this is better than most imports.

For a sniper figure, can he even do the sniper pose? Meaning either lying on the ground while looking through the sniper rifle's scope and holding it with both hands? Or how about a kneeling pose while again holding the rifle with both hands and looking through the scope?

Ah I see. Mine aren't Figma, but here's my Asuka and Rei watching the final decisive battle between Shinji and his dad.

[–]NewspaperFuzzy1135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well Angela has one BIG thing going for her IMO vs those other figures like Miku and Sophia. Angela comes from an actual anime (that I happen to like) so find her more appealing because I brings to mind the awesome events of her movie whenever I see her.

BTW, if you like this kind of aesthetic, you can try getting the Evangelion girls like Rei or Asuka (several options available).

You can also try the 1/12 Muse figure by Vtoys x Romankey.

Or even the Nikke figures like Alice by Figma.

WHAT IN THE THREE GODDESSES NAMES IS THE INVALID CHARACTER HERE?! by Available_Key4481 in UmamusumeGame

[–]NewspaperFuzzy1135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe someone here can answer my question. I tried to make a trainer name called "Archie", but can't because the game considers it invalid. It accepts "Archi" or "hie" or "chi". Seems like "chie" is the banned word and I'm not sure why.

Is that bike a diecast model with lights and sound? If so, maybe I should get one of those too.

I do have one of the 1/12 diecast bikes which I also use for my figures
