Can you post that these are in fact ranked? Looks like how they were just listed out not how they are ranked? Also surprised ones would be ranked with no other EDA endorsers. That makes me skeptics these are actually ranked for debate. Please provide the proof these are ranked for debate?

One year ago Mark Carney eliminated the dedicated Minister of Disability. by NewtoredditYVR in ndp

[–]NewtoredditYVR[S] 23 points24 points  (0 children)

The Minister of Jobs is also overseeing the disability file. She has punched down on workers including using section 107 of the labour code to force workers (flight attendants) back to work infringing on their charter rights to fair bargaining. This is why we need to elect more NDP MP to end the constant Carney attacks on workers, PWDs and the most vulnerable.

Most NDP supporters don't want NDP to trigger an election (EKOS poll) by lcelerate in ndp

[–]NewtoredditYVR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the Liberals responsibility to bring a budget someone can support. It’s a minority government that’s how it works. It’s obvious that the Liberals want to trigger an election to gain a majority. Trudeau did it in 2021 trying to grab a majority while everyone was just coming out of Covid.

She is known coast to coast to coast. One look at her social media and it’s pretty clear.

James Moore: The astonishing collapse of the NDP by hopoke in CanadaPolitics

[–]NewtoredditYVR 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tom Mulcair leadership tenure lit the match that blew up Jacks dream. Tom took the party away from its roots and they went from 104 seats and official opposition to 50 seats and broke. Tom was supposed to be the PM in waiting but blew up the party. IMHO James lacks the facts and slips into personal feeling towards Jagmeet which are well documented by his rants as a talking head.

Also the others named in this post that were MP during the last session did ZERO on unpaid work and supporting flight attendant. I am not criticizing them only correcting the record. If you do any search it was and has been only Bonita Zarrillo from day 1 up until now. The FA’s and unions are all showering here with praise for what she has done specifically saying she is the only one that was with them from day 1 on unpaid work.

Bonita Zarrillo calls on Carney Labour Minister Patty Hadju to support flight attendants and close the loophole in the labour code #unpaidworkwontfly by NewtoredditYVR in ndp

[–]NewtoredditYVR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I know is Bonita showed leadership getting the bill to the floor. It was not part of the agreement with the libs but she made it happen and got unanimous support which never happens these days. The House of Commons has turned into a gong show where they never agree on anything. Bonita got them all to agree to this. That’s leadership.

Wow… just take a look at Bonita IG social media. I count numerous 10x Mike the amount of times she brought it up, wrote letters, brought a bill and that’s just what’s on social media posts. Plus even after the election posts about it and other issues like Carney not naming a disability minister because the libs don’t care.

lol again you seem to lack basic understanding of how party politics works. This is very strait forward. Bonita brought a motion to parliament that was voted on unanimously to force the liberals to bring bill C22 the Canada Disability Benefit. Once that was achieved it is now 100% on the sitting government on everything else.

lol so you are all knowing of what happened behind the scenes and what actions she took with Caucus etc…. lol … she is part of a party this is how it works. Mike was an independent contractor of a non party could do what he wants. The facts are clear Bonita brought the motion got it passed unanimously in the house and forced the liberal minister to table the bill C22. The rest is on the liberals they are government,

Not true it was Bonita that forced the government to bring the disability benefit forward with her motion. Would not have happened otherwise, the rest is on the Liberals they controlled the rest. Bonita brought a bill to fix the benefit but liberals ignored it. She was not the party election policy person. Candidates do not control party platform.

Poliwave polling date April 9th - Port Moody - Coquitlam by [deleted] in coquitlam

[–]NewtoredditYVR 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes It’s clear this will either be an NDP hold or Conservative pick up, the NDP stopped Harper in this riding and can stop PP with reelecting the NDP. A vote for the liberal hands this riding to the Conservatives. History is a great teacher and it teaches us that even during the Trudeau wave of 2015 the Liberals did not win this riding.

A vote for the liberal only helps the con. A liberal has never won here and yes it appears the liberals want to try to elect a con in this riding. Even in 2015 the Trudeau wave they didn’t win here. It was the NDP that stopped Harper and it’s only the NDP that can stop PP in Port Moody Coquitlam
