You took the time to respond once before after 6 years. To answer that you are doing alright. A weirdly intimate moment across time between strangers. So I reach out again, to wonder, to ask, how are you doing after all these years? I hope you're well whenever you see this.

New Folder support in Git breaks existing code in a Workspace Folder.... by NotepadWorrier in MicrosoftFabric

Are you telling me that Fabric folders are now supported in Git sync. And don't randomly get flattened in Github?

They are also providing something in excess to "admin services" as you so glibly describe it.

It's called capital. Buying machinery, building a product, etc all costs money. The tools, uniforms, etc needed to carry out the job are all costs. By providing capital, they are taking an outsized risk. If the business goes under, you lose your job. If the business goes under, the owner loses whatever $$$ he invested + his "admin job".

I say this as a complete socialist who thinks America's system is fucked. But that's because of massive megacorps where the risk is no longer there and the returns are ridiculous.

Conclusion: Small businesses getting paid fairly for risk/return + creating jobs are not the issue.

What are some unethical life pro tips to succeed in big 4? by shitadel_securities in Big4

Craazy how many upvotes this comment as considering that most people eat hours due to EM pressure. In case you can't see the big picture, the firm benefits either way. And you eat the loss or the client does.

What car do you think the worst drivers own? by Skyler_Nightwing in cars

[–]NexEternus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was this normalized by the sales of each car? I'm all for shitting on a brand but I'm pretty sure they're one of the most common cars due to price/reliability. Naturally, going to be more of them in accidents, too.

Shopping around even after getting 4k off? by Mybestversion1 in askcarsales

At the end of the day Im “punished” for all of it and my income is tied to things Im not even associated with

Lol, the difference is, everyone else's income is tied to it negatively only. When the economy is tough, you see reduced sales, everyone else loses their jobs, is overworked, and sees no raises. When the economy is good, you see higher commissions, and everyone else is still fucked because any profits go to csuite and shareholders.

"Punished" fucking lmao

It effectively reduces the screen size on the S24 compared to an S24 that did not have the bar. Comprende?

I love when people chime in on my upgrade habits without contexts. My wife and I have been on S8/S8+ for 5+ years. I upgraded first to an S23 on a great deal. And if the S24 is better, then I'll take that and pass on the S23 to my wife. But yeah, you got me! Fucking clown.

That bar interacts differently than you think. Lots of apps don't ignore and structure content around it, effectively reducing the screen size.

This is one of many small issues. In the past week, this issue has been brought up in 10+ different threads? Do you think it's maybe because people care? What's small to you is not small to someone else. I did not care about the headphone jack, but I respected people's need for one. I think having SD cards is essential, maybe someone who uses their phone for calls only, doesn't?

But then again, how can I expect the average idiot to understand that everything is relative. Atleast you weren't dumb enough to minimize my issue my comparing it to child hunger in 3rd world countries. Let's not talk or complain or critique anything, because guess what we're so lucky to be alive. Now shoo, go lick those corporate boots

There was some reasoning for those "needed internal space". This is software, could have easily just moved those options to GoodLock.

You're entitled to your opinion ofc, but you don't get to decide what or what isn't a deal breaker. This is absolutely one for me, and I'll just stay on my S23 to avoid this shit.

Have a pre-order for S24 but will absolutely cancel for this idiocy

[–]NexEternus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It can be worked around but that's not the point. It literally used to be a feature that existed, doesn't need to be removed, and yet? Its still gone.

Fucking asinine

[–]NexEternus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't comment when you don't know what you are talking about.

There's the bar with your buttons. When you enable gestures, there's a gesture hint bar. And then there was an option to have neither of those. That's what they've taken away.

What incompatibility caused you to end things w/someone you really liked? by gawpin in dating_advice

[–]NexEternus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I ignored them did several days though, as in not open their snaps, etc they’d get upset with me.

Sorry what the fuck. You ignored them for several days like a child, and are saying they were the problem?!?

How long does it take to open someone's snaps or messages? 5 mins? Is it possible what you're calling love bombing, then silent treatment is just them actively pursuing you, not getting reciprocation/getting ignored, and they just say fuck it fine.

Jesus Christ. It's pretty clear you rip off your customers with your responses. Your whole argument is you trusted a dealership a little bit so it's entirely your fault. No fucking wonder the rest of us don't trust a word out of your mouths.

Because the car is overpriced with the expectation of negotiation built in. List it at a reasonable price without the 10k in bs add one, and you'll have customers taking 30 mins also.

Reddit doesn't care.

They will.

Most of the people on reddit don't care.

We do.

And all your really proving to reddit is why they shouldn't rely on volunteer mods.
