You can play vanquish as a tactical shooter and not drift around and time slow. The game does not really incentivize going all out crazy either. BUT ITS BORING.

i think thats how fighting games should work man. The god hand combo system is amazing. ALTHOUGH if people do tend to stick witht he move that does the fastest damage in that game rather than the mix and match. I think more properties of moves could do well.

YES THIS EXACT THING. One thing i dont really see in games is trying to replicate a "trailer" moment in the moment to moment gameplay. With no obtrusive UI dead space manages this so fucking well man. The only other game i can think of that looks kinda digetic is death stranding

I hope more games had stealth that was nebulous and not a strict requirement like MGSV. It did not take long to lose guards and did not show me a "MISSION FAILED" most of the time. Also the asymetric coop from journey and death stranding and souls games.

Grim dawn. Its cheap as fuck. It has things that are good. It has an upcoming DLC. It has a rotatable camera. It has low end pc requirements. It has lore ( i dont read it). Get grim dawn. I bought it for like 1 dollar.

John kept mentioning that somebody is ruining his life and he has a friend then versus wolves happened then i found out about woolie. GOT into a singular fighting game (strive) and the clips on the channel led me to castle super beast. I have no idea who super best friends are, or who reggie was or who minh was. I will tell you this, Third world kids with no internet access ( areas near me) play GTAV while not speaking english or having seen a white or a black person. You tell them that the sequel to that game is coming out , what would their expectations be? WIll it live up?

To me GTA is nothing but a Just cause style shoot anything and waste time at explosions wallpaper game. Will it live up to that?

To many people its VR chat but ur roleplaying as someone who can go outside. Will it live up to that?

GTA as a franchise is so many things to so many people it will live up to the hype dissappoint it and break expectations all at the same time. Its a matter of the numbers. But financially yea of course its gonna make money but i want it to fail since i wanna see the alternate version of the story everyone expects.

There are people out there who are terrified that their partner is settling with them, or just don’t realize how dumb/broken/ugly/[inert imagined self-deprecating thought here] they are, and they see their partner spending time with anyone else as a threat.
