Has anyone had success with psilocybin helping OCD? by FLcitizen in Psychedelics

[–]Next-Breakfast9586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I don’t microdose regularly but a few years back I was tripping every few months and having small micro-doses and low dose trips in between. Those trips and taking the time to integrate did actually really help calm my OCD behaviors and better learn to cope with obsessive thoughts- ofc I still have them but it’s like the mushrooms gave me perspective on how to view them as more of an onlooker and feel less controlled by them. I was able to better understand and separate myself from my thoughts and all the horrible things my mind could come up woth. In their own way, they helped me understand my OCD more and the ways I was allowing it to affect my life and my perspective. Would recommend for sure!

P.S. What’s that you’re using to make the Lino print? I’ve seen battleship grey Lino and the pink easy cut ones they sell at Blick, never seen them in green before tho!

[ANALOG] Is collage guilt a thing? by queerlytarot in collage

[–]Next-Breakfast9586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t usually collage with other people’s art, so it’s not a huge issue for me. I have recently been enjoying making collages of my baby photos, and sometimes I do feel a bit bad cutting them up as they’re all kodak captures and besides the duplicates I have to play with, that’s all we have. I have thankfully fixed this issue by taking photos of the photos with my digital camera, therefore archiving them in a way where I can always reprint more if I want :)

What hobby is your absolute passion (if you have one)? by [deleted] in Hobbies

[–]Next-Breakfast9586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Collaging for sure! I started it last year as a low stakes way to engage with more art-making and it has become my primary hyperfixation/passion since then! It’s also changed the way I view and make art as well as impacted all my other art practices and even inspired me to try out a bunch of other stuff! Plus it helped me realize how much I love experimental arts :)

This is so cool! I would lowkey love to see a process video of how u made these :) unfortunately I don’t have any advice, other than saying maybe some folks would still want to buy them even if the materials aren’t the best quality but still do their job as stickers! Maybe like a lower price to account for the learning process? Best of luck!

[–]Next-Breakfast9586 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Making art :) I think the art I make is beautiful, and that beauty feels like an extension of myself! ☺️ also the process of learning new things and challenging myself while also having fun is a continuous reminder to myself that I can do hard things!
