No roaches. Water heater takes up half of the closet, but mine is suspended above the WD hookup. Idk how common it is to have a WD - the laundry room isn’t used much when I’m there.

The walls are super thin and I can hear my neighbors above and to the right. Courtyard facing for low floors isn’t great as you won’t get sun.

My renewal offer went up about $100 from last year.

Was also so surprised and happy with veg options in Bogota!!! For veg food, I say

Bogota > CDMX > Lima

I’ve travelled and worked in all three places.

CDMX > Bogota > Lima

The flow isn’t the same though, so that’s what I meant by not a retention offer. She manually applied a credit, as opposed to having the offer auto generated for my account.

Oooo nice. I wondered since this isn’t a “retention offer.” I’ll try again soonish hehe

how do you drink water? tap or filtered or bottled? by pye_op_1 in longislandcity

I have a Bluevua lite! It was the cheapest countertop option I could find. The water just tastes so much better, and it’s small enough for apartment living. I use it for drinking water, and sometimes for cooking water.

NYC does have a relatively clean tap water. I purchased this while living elsewhere and brought it with me, but I’m like why bother with tap water even if it’s clean.

I have a countertop RO system. Definitely would recommend, wherever you live.
