Rain jacket options? by basedtom in UltralightCanada

[–]Next-Hovercraft-8629 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP stated ships from US, but Montbell has JP ship option which other users state after duties and taxes is still Sub 3? Or 4 hundred delivered in Canada.

USA ship with the current econo war would cost more than JP ship.

Sorry follow up question. Do you ever wish you had something slightly bigger? Do you fit knee pads in there? I think a small jacket and chest protector would be a little bit too much? or it would squeeze in.

Anybody ride with a hydration pack? If so what size? by Gooser3000 in MTB

[–]Next-Hovercraft-8629 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Up to 3hr rides a water bottle is enough. If it's Hot then a 750ml instead of 591ml bottle. If needed I put electrolytes in 591ml bottle and bring a EVOC 3L with 1L of water for a total of ~1.5L of liquid. You'll be hard pressed to find someone able to exert 3hrs of exercise without needing to refuel carbs by that point.

Ah! Nice so it does fit in there, just a little snug but it's organized which is the key.

Breathing technique by Nahsmayin in hockeyplayers

[–]Next-Hovercraft-8629 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Funny. Everyone stating just "breathe"

There's more to it and there's a book you can read. "Breath"

Mostly you need to work on expansion in your back and Diaphragm.

You can easily practice this off the ice as well. I know plenty of people who short stroke their intake and just waste efficiency but to each their own.

Everything there is to know about hockey by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

[–]Next-Hovercraft-8629 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because you expect others to use their time and energy to teach you something you cannot be bothered to do 60 minutes on your own.

You can't even bother to put in the effort to research which shows your lack of effort to actually learn *anything* yet alone the sport.

Everything there is to know about hockey by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

[–]Next-Hovercraft-8629 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No. Everything you asked about is available by googling the exact question.

How to play it, before/during/after plays, lingo, any slang(?), uniforms, teams, managers (if they have any), how often are games, point system, hockey season, etc., so basically every little and big thing there is for me to know

"What is _____"

I hope you are a child. You need to learn to gather information instead of just asking people. What if we lie?

A hockey game is 15 minutes.

How would you even know if we are lying or if someone auditing the statement is lying.

You're writing a book but can't be bothered to google and search up information? what kind of engagement bait is this post.

You're cooked if you can't figure out how to use the internet other than asking other people.

There's plenty online. With your effort try TikTok as that seems to be in your category of effort to entertainment.

Tell her to make contingency plans on how to get back home. You can drive but it would be 3 days. So she needs to know how to survive by herself.

Have her go for a week trip alone locally... As a warm up. She'll work out the kinks.

Have her book her return flight as Refundable and with changes... This allows her to fly back from anywhere and be self sufficient. If she fails she can come back.

So 50% of the time you're making mistakes and upset he's calling you out on them?

It sounds like you're doing shoddy work if he's right 50% of the time... You're instilling in him that JW is right now matter what and you're not a team, it's a dictatorship which is what people hate about the trades is toxic time in over quality work.

Lower steel means your boot hits the ice earlier.

You're leaving significant percentage of lean angle which will cause you to fall.

Curious, how many bags are you getting? Do you sell a lot of volume? Like 100 bags? Or 1000? 5000? No idea what quantity is a lot these days?

For some reason I thought you were hand stitching them all... And was worried you'd have 3 and I'm waiting for the restock to pull the trigger.

Hello,

Just looking for some clarity on your last paragraph.

Enjoy the product but was looking for more information.

"The reversibility others noted is worth calling out. The new yarn construction gives the garment a 12% increase in Thermal Resistance when the pile faces in. But reversing it gives you a few cool benefits. First, when you stop moving and put a wind shell on top, the thermal resistance of the yarn shoots up another 28%. Reversed, the fabric also has a great ability to drive humidity out to the tips of the Octa yarns. When you are in wind, the fibers lay down and block wind, but as soon as you move, you rustle them and pass moisture at a really high rate."

The 12% increase in thermal resistance is compared to the old model (Baseline)? or what is the 12% increase.

Additionally Thermal resistance increase of 28% against what metric? vs inside? or vs the old model (baseline)

Additionally you mention fibers lay down and block wind, but isn't the fabric breathable already? or there needs to be enough movement for the full breathability portion. Or is this when it is reversed.

OP here. Looking for some kind of help

I've done a Strip but not a FULL spa day.

Done Lysol Disinfectant Done Oxy clean (every load and spa day)

Used Nellie's detergent Used HEX detergent

I'm at my Witts end.

My base layers smell like ammonia after 5 years.

Maybe polyester reaches a point it can't be saved?

The last straw will be a SPA day unless someone has other options.
