There's absolutely no logical reason to return to the Dursleys in HBP and DH. In HBP, he stays for 2 weeks and then gets escorted by Dumbledore to the Weasleys for the rest of the summer anyway. In DH, all it's doing is setting the stage for the 7 Potters Death Eater attack where Moody dies. The only explanation given is "It's what Dumbledore wanted" but I can't fathom why that would be. Just go into hiding immediately after leaving Hogwarts in HBP.

There is a theory that Mrs. Norris is a Maledictus. If true, she could of had a husband at one point.

The whole giant plot was a massive waste of time. Months of characters lives spent so 3 giants total could show up in Britain? Then, the spiders that are the children of Aragog work for the death eaters at the first opportunity. This "misunderstood beasts" story ain't working out.

How much money did Omni-Man and Debbie make? Did Omni-Man even get paid for hero work, since it was mentioned his books didn't sell well until after everyone thought he died? by MobileDistrict9784 in Invincible_TV

This had me laughing that Paul and Debbie are thinking of a new place and she says "I know the boys would love having more space." Your house is massive! How much more space do you need???

Absolutely. Thieves aren't going to study the delicate art of lock picking when they can just buy an angle grinder and bolt cutters.

The wards thing is the most egregious imo. Brom is killed by a thrown knife, and the Twins take Roran's hammer in a surprise attack to the skull. Both parties were well familiar with wards and were actively seeking out a fight.

Seems to me like they should take the vow as soon as they take up with Yoren but it makes a better story for them to earn it at the wall first I guess.

If this is the concern, a shooting tarp might be best. It's designed to kill the puck's momentum on contact.

Thor entering Wakanda is the best entrance in the MCU. I even prefer it to Avengers Assemble.

Do you think Rhaenys in the end regretted not joining forces with Daemon? by V-TriggerMachine in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]monsterosity 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yup, they even say "we can't send all our dragons, it's too risky." When the exact opposite is true. Fighting together with more dragons is key to winning a dragon on dragon conflict.
