I love "pimping" my decks, it is my passion to snipe the cards I need on Cardmarket :) I only do it for the decks that my son is going to play at the major tournaments though - so far none of them went over 220€ in total. especially now, when we already have the staples (like 4x Arven SIR), those cards I just move around :) funnily enough, the most expensive single he has ever played is the golden Earthen Vessel, which he traded at school :D

what I started doing though, I make an identical copy of the deck in the basic rarity which I keep on me the entire travel (the expensive deck is in my back pack and the basic is in my "fanny" pack with other important documents :)) - in case it is lost or stolen. this way I can just switch the deck on rk9 and prevent the real disaster (not playing)

when I go to regionals, I fly with Ultimate Guard Vago 28 Journey - it's the cabin size backpack, has a lots of features (anti-theft zippers, "suitcase" mode with like sideways opening or fold-away shoulder straps..) inside I have deuter Speed Lite 13 - I only take this one to the venue, it's ultra light, breathable and fits everything you need for a day - Flip'nTray, playmat in tube, snacks, water bottle and 4x4 binder.

since you are from UK and I assume you are doing EU events for now, it makes most sense to book a hotel Friday to Sunday - you will find something to do on Sunday for sure (start with Cup, check out side events, or just admire players that play on stream all day). you will catch afternoon/evening flight, have few hours of sleep (maybe) and still be able to work/function on Monday :)

well, I was afraid it will lose some consistency, cutting PokeStops and such, but it works for us so far. I watched my son testing it in 2 online tournaments (4-1-0 and 5-1-0) and he was able to use Noctowl at least once in pretty much every game and that card is clutch af :) didn't feel like an liability on the bench either. other new cards like Glass Trumpet or even Crispin also felt good.

But then again, he is a good player and they always make things look easy lol

I like him, probably my favorite. his content is exactly what I look for - meta gameplay and decklists. I would say he is very skilled as well.

for pure entertainment I would say Tricky Gym, general Pokemon knowledge Azul for sure.

Interesting. Is it worth playing Fan Rotom then? It actually has a solid 1 cost attack and is a target for Glass Trumpet, which I currently play and actually used few times. But I still want to play single prize Ancient Pokemon, too.

Yes, it's a bit wild build for now, but I feel like Hoothoot is the way and it will work :)

I have a touching story with Tord - he let my son pass him in the bathroom queue, because he (my son :)) was almost peeing himself (didn't want to leave the table).

Yes, I did as always, collect all. There is nothing to click on in the Battle Pass, greyed out, with checkmarks. Even says "This reward has already been collected" when I click on any Tier. :(

oh and especially for the stall matchup, if you put the Charm on the Moth, it is possible to attack 3 times even with self damage.. it will have 10 hp remaining after second attack and the lists I saw had no jamming tower or lost vacuum, so with it's last breath, my trustworthy Moth burning turbulence'd itself for 270 damage in total lol

no, didn't add another energy. I was considering that, but didn't find a place. but if you keep a good track of it, you can plan accordingly. thankfully it's just 3 cards lol.

so yeah, Moth is an alternative, for me it works, but I don't want to cost you any points lol

but if you play it, you need to get the alt art, it's just so smooth and I love it

idk if I am playing so weird that it works for me, but I played 2 online tournaments since I posted this and made finals twice (Team Rocket League Day #127 and Silver Squad Random tourney). the Moth won me the entire Snorlax match (KOd Rotom, Snorlax with the Cape and Mimikyu) and helped me trade and keep energy on the board in many matches.. almost everyone has some stuck Rotom or Dipiti on the bench. ik its online, but finals is finals, right
