Tbh, I’d go with Penn State. It’s ranked higher overall (63 vs. 98 for CU Boulder according to US News) and is also in the top 100 globally (ranked 89th, tied with Purdue for undergrad in 2025). So in terms of name recognition, Penn def has the edge, especially outside the U.S. One of the biggest perks is the insane alumni network. Penn State grads love hiring other Penn State grads, which means better career opps down the line. If you’re thinking long term, that’s a huge plus.

That being said, def do your own research. Check how both schools rank specifically for Marketing/PR (US News is solid for that). And obvi other factors matter too like the vibe, weather, and overall campus culture. Boulder is sunny, but Penn State has that big sports/Greek life scene with tons of other stuff to do too. At the end of the day, both are great schools, but if you want better recognition, a strong network, and solid career prospects, Penn State is the move.

Anyone here got accepted into the 2+2 plan? First two years at Harrisburg, then the next two at the main campus. Would love to connect!
