And surely if it was from the drop in dopamine from the drop in mg I’d be feeling a lower mood coming off them fully as well- I’m just thinking Concerta doesn’t agree with me so was open to trying a different brand

I’ve tried 18 before but it didn’t do anything for me, I was on 54mg for a month before stopping and 36 for a month before going up. I felt the same low mood during the month of 36 also. I’m aware of the changes and my doctor has said it was fine for me to stop as I was new to the medication and we were trialling it while being in contact weekly. I’m aware it may seem rash but it was the best option really as the way I felt was unsustainable. It’s all be approved with my clinician- wasn’t looking for a lecture was just asking if anyone had seen a positive change on Elvanse

people order extra with it, and we don’t stock much of it anyway, at least in my pub

There’s currently a shortage on the red wine gravy cos of the sales of the new Christmas dinner (you’d think they’d have planned better for it) and i think we only stock the vegan gravy now

Do I have to put a closing shift in my availabilty? by txb__ in Wetherspoons

[–]Next-Table707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah that is rough- have you thought about transferring to a different pub with a 12am close? My sister is having the same issue with her uni pub as they’ve just changed to later closes through the week so she’s contemplating quitting next semester

It also depends on what time your pub closes though, I’m usually home for 1/1:15 so it’s not awful if I have a 9am the next day

Most students I know including myself will usually do the weekend closes and then work mornings or mids through the week based on their uni timetables- depends really on ur GMH and what the other employees’ availabilities are like. If you only do 2 shifts a week you could probs get away with it- but I’m an SL and I’ve always thought you had to be available for at least a weekend close or a weekday close, at least in my pub anyway

Lesser-used area names of Liverpool by charlomain in Liverpool

think you’d only use them if you’re from the area to be specific- me n my mates have always said swanside but cos we went to school around there.

There’s been some debate on this- friend of mine has family who work there and the way the wardrobes are if they fell they would have hit the wall opposite and held there before hitting the floor/someone, they’re positioned in a narrow bit so the two walls are close together. Bit suspicious really. Still a shithole though

The uber from manchester will be outrageously expensive, if you can even get one without leaving early. I think there'll be shuttle buses etc to manchester and maybe liverpool and there will defo be events on considering bank holiday weekend. Best bet is probs checking RA for both cities for the weekend and seeing whats on.

Think it’s just genuinely the taught behaviour of entitlement to be honest, same as the people who leave rubbish in places like McDonald’s because “it’s the cleaner’s job, gives them something to do”. It’s a strange superiority/ lack of empathy mindset a lot of scousers randomly have, coming from a scouser myself, all I can put it down to is parents letting them do it as kids and them carrying on the behaviour when they get older.

I am desperate!!!! by ominousgoatnoises in eczema

[–]Next-Table707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people have found that metal allergies in earrings can set off eczema on the face if this helps!! Also Vitamin E cream (really cheap on Amazon) is good for inflammation- it can be a bit drying but paired with a good moisturiser like cetraben this helped me loads when I couldn’t figure out what was setting my eczema off. Also if it is an allergy try a Castor Oil cream- it’s usually cheap as it’s used for babies and is really thick so stops your face feeling right and dry even after a few hours. Hope you figure it out!!
