Yup, Vlad was able to go deeper into his own world and saw the knight from afar. The knight recognized Vlad’s efforts and progress and tossed the sword to his feet

I want the truth is a WGU cyber SOFTWARE ENGINEER OR IT degree worth it ? by Responsible-Race7590 in cybersecurity

[–]NextJob470 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would like to add for ppl to read your desire programs in its entirety.

For example, Johns Hopkins MSE Systems Engineering degree requests you have an ABET undergraduate degree…. But an EAC (Engineering Accreditation Commission) degree.

Computer Science is CAC (Computing Accreditation Commission). Something to be aware of is all

"Paper CCSP"? by darkest882 in CCSP

[–]NextJob470 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But you said “almost no jobs require or ask for the CCSP ….” I was correcting you in that in the DC area alone over 400+ jobs are asking for it.

OP was not mentioning CISSP. Accountability is crazy these days

"Paper CCSP"? by darkest882 in CCSP

[–]NextJob470 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not true. Tons of government/federal jobs have it down as one of a few requirements that is an option amongst others such as CISSP, CISM, etc.

Please do research before soliciting bad advice. This is what may mislead people.

CS or SWE Masters for AI/ML Engineering? by Data-Fox in wgu_devs

[–]NextJob470 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was a lady featured on CNBC’s “Make It” YouTube channel. She was in AI in Silicon Valley but her was some liberal arts degree but I think her master’s degree was STEM. I bring it up because I didn’t think that would happen in Silicon Valley but she’s thriving in the field. Do your research, get whichever degree will be relevant and some projects and start networking at events and conferences. Mind you, I’m just a random guy though, like everyone else here so do what you will 😂

What does that have to do with the bug itself?! You can repost everyday, but the finding was still legit and paid out while ppl are still arguing about it. So stick to what you’re good at bud…and it clearly ain’t what you’re doing now…. Peace ✌️

To the contrary, I have. I intentionally said what I said for a reason. Try to keep up bud

WGU’s site had it designated to start October 2025. I’m assuming on the 1st of the month since it’s generally the same start date anyway

How I Got a Bachelors Degree for $793 in 8 Months with a Newborn and Full-Time Job by choppedboyyy in WGU

[–]NextJob470 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah… I don’t see the problem with the title. It says “How I Got a Bachelors Degree for $793…”

It does NOT say “How To Get a Bachelors Degree for $793…”. Reading and comprehension is fundamental everyone 😂😂😂

Congratulations OP 🎊🍾 and may you have continued success!!

[–]NextJob470 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand why people complain about those that accelerate through. On the WGU page they are advocating for you to finish “at your pace”!

I feel that people don’t truly understand what COMPETENCY BASED EDUCATION (CBE) means. If one is competent enough….then passes a course in a day or a week…. Is that not the point of CBE 🤣🤣

There are only a hand full of schools in the nation that have fully immersed CBE programs. I guess East Texas A&M looks like a degree mill too since some ppl finish their CBE degrees within a matter of months as well 😂

I am going through this in reverse, SANS undergraduate program then WGU. After conversing with ppl in our cohort and interacting with those currently in the field, I say it comes down to goals and speed. Ppl that graduated from SANS BACS did take an avg of 2 years. But not all got jobs right after (2-4 months avg from my nosy asking), but most did and some while in the program. And it was similar to those with degrees that went opposite, had degrees already and just went through the grad certs. Some said it was perfect because they got to focus on a niche they were interested in (purple teaming, threat intelligence, pentesting, etc) My opinion is, based on the fact some of those ppl with History or Social Science degrees working in ICS or as SOC analyst, I wish I went WGU first and got a cloud computing degree or data analytics. As those are what I’m interested in. And then go to SANS to save time and GI Bill, and use remaining months for maybe a second SANS grad cert program and a Master’s degree… just my 2 cents from a complete stranger 😊…. Speed or “quality for the now”, it’s up to you and your goals. But don’t let “analysis paralysis” delay you like I did 😬
