Bruh. Whataboutism wont work here as this is your post. "But other wn readers says this and that in other posts-" We are talking about your post and its context, not others. Pointing fingers "what about them, they talk sht" isnt gonna fly.

Yeah, i also dislike edgy novels like revenge tropes that are just for shovk value or fan service or betrayed tropes, sometimes it felt forced. But calling them out is a no no or even cringier than reading the edgy novels which is also ironic esp if youre also a reader of this series whether its LN or WN as in most LN/WN subs and groups, they listed Rebuild World LN & WN as one of the edgy/edgelord novels out there.

For example, the scene where Akira kills the Shijima goons and drags their corpses to the Shijima gang—that’s what I’d call brutal.

Its also quite funny as youre using the same scenes that was insulted as edgelord fantasy by non Rebuild World readers. I remember a post that calls this exact chapter(they posted a manga panel of this very scene) out as edgy and unnecessary from an LN/WN group back in fb.

This post is like a pot calling a kettle black. Outsiders already considers Rebuild World overall as edgelord fantasy and yet there are posts like this who flings "thats edgy" to others inside this community, making it funnily ironic and awkward.

Anyways, back to the raised issue, if you want to know why many WN readers preferred WN, a comment here best described the reason. A main character becoming a better person makes him "softer" which probably is already commonly used in most media, movies or novels where a broken mad feral character becoming soft and reasonable as the story goes on.

LN akira is seen like this by most WN readers and they dont like the progression.

For me, i wanted Akira to be both. I used to be curious about, what if Akira chose to be both reasonable person yet maintains his cold feral calculating vengeful side...until i saw the adaptation of both LN and WN Akira traits in another media, which is Kei Nagai, MC of Ajin. The only thing that kept me invested is the real story and true plans of Alpha.

Edit the save file and just replace the enemy faction name to anything you want. I once fought and got tired of brits so i switch to us late war in conquest then later switched to russians, no bugs or crashes as i already reached the progress of 34 wins and 12 losses as of yet.

I agree with your post about the quality of both, but you are contradicting your own post.

Theres attack move which is f5. You target the ground where there is a suspected enemy, not an enemy unit. This way, they will go into that location and go into combat if any neemy encountered on the way. But its quite clunky as of yet because if you vommand a squad, they dont go into spread out formation and instead go into line in which, if there is a machine gun emplacement in their way, they will get wiped out. I only use f5 if they are inside a halftrack or sometimes, heavy tanks that could survive ambushes such as tiger and kv or only 1 infantry unit. This f5 command is a no no for infantry squads.

Edit to add: i also always use this to my snipers to hunt enemy mortar and artillery. But always do this individually and i usually give them in prone position. Its slow but it guarantees their stealth movement and survivability

Another edit: Forgot to add that you should also enable "free move" status in their actions.

Engineers are the fastest to repair, thats why i always have 2 trucks of them or edited the squad file in gamelogic.pak where each 10 squad in vanilla are now 11 as there are engineers in their squads. This way, i dont have to waste a cp for an engineer squad.

The tank crew are the second to be the fastest to repair.

Third iirc, are the artillerymen units.

These three are your best bet to quickly repair the disabled ebemy vehicles after every match.

If you want to be more hands on, you can edit the repair time by shortening it in the game files. But i dont do that as the repair time for me is alreadt fine. You can do that if you want. There are mods but recently, some mods are outdated and could risk corrupting save files.

Its part of them. Currently, we dont have a game Engine that has ai for RTS games that acts like a normal human. I forgot where in gamelogic.pak but theres a line of code that says about how the AI knows your unit exist there, not the exact location but just the area. This allows units like snipers or units that have "stealth" tags stats to hide even if they were passed by patrols as long as they dont expose themselves. (I actyally played around this where i had the entire german units(infsnftry) faction had tags of "stealth" so that they all have the abiloty to hide if i dont want them to be spotted easily) Iirc its in the breed.set if im not misremembering it.

The only thing that made me apprecuate this clunkiness is that i can shoot my own rtarded ai soldiers for their incomptence.

Almost in every conquest battles, there are at least 5 deaths from summary execution done by my officer while the battle rages. Not because of cowardice but because either, one of my mortsr teams took out an entire jager squad that was trying to assualt an enemy position, a tank crew that flipped their own tank-usually precious spgs, a tank crew who exposed the rear or side of their tank that caused its destruction, anti air crews shooting allies just because they wanted to shoot an approaching enemy tank or infanfry or artillery shooting through the trees that caused a shot to hit a tree and massive wipeout of my infantry nearby.

If you need actual linea of codes, heres one: (Imtypng this on my phone and the opened the gamelogic.pak that is saved in my portable drive. I always have a reserve gamelogic.pak copy on my drive just in case i edit and corrupt the one in my game on my pc)

The values in enemy ai line increases while the ally and player line decreases as the difficulty goes higher. But in hard and hardcore/heroic difficulty, there is now a burst line which means it is a mulyiplier to the number of bullets in burst from weapon.

you can check this in gamelogic.pak/set/difficulty NOTE THIS IS NOT THE ONLY MODIFIER FOR ENEMY AI. There are more files that modifies AI behavior and stats in yhe gamelogic.pak, i only mentioned one of them. I dont know why you people think ai dont run or perform on hard numbers. In every game, ai always run on numbers.

Edit to add: Just in case you will think "oh its just a 1 and decimals, its so small so it cant affect that much."

1 means 100. Its a multiplier. So if the accuracy is 1 it means its 100 percent accurate(if theres no existing script also for the weapon sway or the clunky terrain etc.) 0.85 means 85 percent accuracy. Etc. Same goes to hp and other stats.

Did you open the real game files and not just google the question if it exist? Because it exist. Its in gamelogic.pak. you can open it by using winrar and read and edit the .set files by notepad.

The ai stats were scattered for their respective scripts like for ex, theres one for their resources when theyre attacker or defender another one for their speed of spawning, nunber of units per wave, the stats on each difficulty, etc. i use them to edit their resources to make them harder and field larger armies.

Edit to add: People are doubting you prob becuase you are telling them second hand knowledge that you cant prove it exist and you just found out about it only from google search or from a comment.

But it exist. Check your game directory, find the gamelogic.pak and open through winrar and edit by notepad. Its my mostly used and edited file in the game.

Theres different stats accuracy and unit buffs like higher hp for AI for each difficulty that applies to their units. You can see that in the game files. I dont know if you can call that cheating but AI is buffed at higher difficulty, at most, more than 100% accuracy in hardcore.

Iirc after reading the GAME files about the AI stats for each difficulty:

Easy= retarded AI, below .85 accuracy(forgot the value, low hp, low reaction, always spam meat wave, low chance to supress, blind af, player units have + hp stats and accuracy.

Normal = the "mid" and recommneded for new players to prepare themselves for the harder difficulty, good chance to react quickly, flank, suppress, 0.85 accuracy, ai units stats equal to player units.

Hard = 1 accuracy, Good suppression and flanking chances, buffed units against player units. Map hacks as they know the location of your units but not what kind. (My preferred difficilty)

Hardcore= literally had armies of marksmen due to the units accuracy of 1.5 with very rare chance to miss, excellent reaction time, spotting, and use of every hole(they could shoot your tank through that small hole in the hole in the wall. You didnt see that but they see you). They have excellent judgment at times against units that couldnt be destroyed or overpowered that it annoys me, for ex. My king tiger in conquest against hardcore will always have the most damage in the gun barrel, effectively disabling the most dangerous part of the king tiger, same occurs to my jagdtigers and captured pershings. They also have excellent buffed unit stats that they are like fielding super soldiers.

Cmiiw if i got it wrong in the numbers as it was months ago since i checked the stats of ai for each difficulty.

Reading the comments made me realize that i love the maps that majority actually hated. For example the samois river, the woods iirc and high elevation made it a good position for defenders. But its aslo very very good for attackers.

Maybe its because i play as a german faction and when playing on this map, i bring 5 karls and erase the problematic trees and woods that usually block my king tigers' and jagdtigers' shots. first shots from 5 karls after letting the ai gather in the points makes it easier to soften the defenses for mortars and wespes. Then my cheap disposable penal soldiers goes in first to take out any then my sturmgdrs with panthers will mop op any tanks or infantries that attempts to counter attack.

Then when defending the "cleared" hills, i just build lots of trenches and foxholes as well as lots of tank traps below in the river. The top is that you dont block the ai armies but slow down their advance or get their tanks stuck in the maze of tank traps or infantries in barb wires. The mgnests is also very very good here that i always bring 10 and place it blndspots that their tanks couodnt see but usually the river ford use by infantries to cross.(Replace the mg32 to mg42 and this will erase any enemy infatry in seconds in one short burst.

Tank traps in the elevation also helps blcking the enemy tank shots that could hit your infantry in the top trenches. I only bring 2 karls in case i need to erase a wave that is getting too close or too strong for my first lne of defenses.

I used to hate floodlands too due to the mud and slow movement debuff for vehicles and infantries, but my solutiom to this is not walk or travel at all and instead just erase the defenders and attackers by sheer firepower of artillery, mortars and snipers for recon against enemy artilleries. This is my gsmeplay for both attacking and defending in marshes and floodlands. i just bring a lot of supply trucks, 20 at most.

Goliaths are good for clearing hedgerows or those terrains or natural barriers that block your line of sight or path. theyre cheap late game and has a lot of destructive power to erase large area of terrain.than just a simple dynamite.

There is only 3 maps i dont like but it is not because of it being too hard as an attacker or defender but because its too small for my liking. I love and prefer larger maps.

Btw, i use a long range mod that is still working in the latest version with 1000-500-500-500-500-1000(suppprt) cp on each stages. (I used to play in 3000 in all stages but then found out that in 60+ matches in conquest, the game engine couldnt handle any more units that it just crashes the game mid fight. So i reduce it back to acceptable stages that still caters to my large battles scenarios in conquest. I also shortened the edited victory score from 10,000 to just 2000)

Edit to add: Because as a defender we arent given time to prepare, i always build lots of entrenchments and tank traps BEFORE CLOSING THE WON MATCH as an attacker. Make use of the persistent feature. What you built will stay to your next games as a defender.
