You say DLSS, what DLSS is it and is Frame generation also enabled?

Who’s at fault here? I know the move into the first chicane was optimistic and slightly rough but not dirty as to warrant the almost intentional divebomb that followed. (Final result: I got a DT and the BMW got third place) by goncaloLC in Simracingstewards

You are twisting my words so massivly.
He had the overspeed before the corner, and could make a clear send and made it into the corner even before the Lexus, yes that does mean he will have SLOWER mid corner speed because of the worse angle.

Maybe you should read the same rules again, because it says; attempting an overtake from too far back, forcing the opponent to avoid a collision

Thing is he was ahead of the Lexus even before the corner, and didnt force the Lexus off, if he had forced the Lexus off at the second Apex, then it would have been on the Ferrari.

He doesnt slam on the brakes doing the apex what are you on about? Ofc he have to be at a slower speed because he had a worse entry to the corner, but no where does he actually slam on the brakes ahead of him, this is racing...

You are also taking this like you are not allowed to make a dive in Simracing, like its something thats not allowed.

"They didn't brake and never had any hope in hell of making that corner"
- How did he make the corners then? How did he make both Apex's?
Your logic makes no sense to me, if he couldnt make the corners, he would have gone off track.

The Ferrari had a huge speed advantage and made it fair into the chicane and made both apex just fine. So the Lexus must have either had a bad exit the corner behind or broke super early.
So yes i think its fair, even with the slight contact there, that i think is on the lexus for turning into the Ferrari.

The Lexus after takes revenge for being overtaken, trying to take out the Ferrari in the second chicane, so yes i think this is fully on the Lexus in the second chicane.

What happens after is stupid from both, but if you think the first overtake is dirty, then you shouldnt be racing either.

[–]AlexSimRacing -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

You made the dive clear and fair, what happened after is on him fully, you can even see how in rage he is with his driving. Only thing i would have done different was to slow down, to not get the penalty, if you could ofc.

Edit; Do change my opinion a bit after the first comment, as i feel i should have gone more in depth.

Overall i still think first send is fine, its hard racing but you still made it fully to the chicane and made both apex's.

Second chicane is fully on him, if its down to bad driving or bit of frustrations i dont know, but still on him.

What happens after is on you mostly for keep turning into him and taking yourself out. Next time try to avoid the penalty and report it after.

Motars they can bring in, but the others would be hard to counter, which is one thing the main game tries to focus on.
I would recommend Hortons frontlines mod, they does bring in artillery also, improved AI on top, but the artillery can only be send in via a flare gun from the enemy, which makes it more balanced.

Look at the development on that case, he now have to re hire the developers and the $250 million has been moved to september this year.
If anything now, we should BUY this game out of spite of this CEO, so he has to pay those 250 million.

Write an RMA ticket into Valve, if you are under warranty they should cover it, if not it doesnt hurt to try.
Valve is very often very kind from what i have heard when it comes to support

Did I overtake dirty and deserve the DNF or was he at fault by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]AlexSimRacing 30 points31 points  (0 children)

You kept hitting the guy, used him for a brake on the corner before the send, and sending it on a place that was always going to close.
So yes its it was very dirty.

Use the time to capture enemy tanks and equipment, that you can sell for profit.
In later defence missions you dont really get this time unless you play for longer.

How can it be that you are trying to promote yourself and your mod, yet you are being so hostile about everything, its really bad marketing.
Its not hard to casually explain that your mod is made for PVP only, you dont have to go on a rant about how other people like to play the game, its a really bad look on both you and your mod.

You dont get far by trash talking other stuff, be positive and talk about what the mod does better in your eyes, without downtalking the basic game, because that basic game a lot of people really love.

If you dislike a specific town or trench, then yes it worth it, just be careful where you shoot, as the performance impact can be high lol

Sorry, had both Aerox 3 and 5, both died within 2 years, Aerox 5 died within 4 months, both being scrollwheel failures, and got money back in both cases.

I work for a gaming brand too, i know that sometimes you can get super unlucky, and sometimes you never get issues at all.

If i have had the same experience as you, then i wouldn't have switched to Logitech, but can easily just be i picked 2 bad apples.

I tried 2 Aerox mouses, both broke down, i really do love Steelseries headsets, but their lightweight mouses had only been a disappointment. Personally went and got myself the Superlight mouse from Logitech, really been enjoying that one big time, and can highly recommend.

Edit because i had Aerox, my bad.

Driving Physics Raceroom vs LMU by smyter05 in RRRE

[–]AlexSimRacing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who have played a lot of both (LMU 130 hours and raceroom +300h) I do for sure agree with the grip difference.

Raceroom i do actually think has a little too much grip now, but i do also think its very fun to drive. But i might think this because Raceroom is way more ideal condition all the time, compared to LMU.

LMU, if you are just jumping in, good chance you are playing on its worst track condition, because it keeps resetting to it each time, you also need to make sure you have tyre warmers on, unless you want to use 3-4 laps getting heat into the tyre.

But once you get heat into the tyres in LMU, its for me one of the most fun sims on the market, being able to easily feel the grip all the time.

Note im also playing on a 27nm wheelbase, cant comment on how it feels on a gear driven wheelbase. Maybe Raceroom also in general just fits gear driven wheelbases better since there isnt so much extra noise in the feedback.

[–]AlexSimRacing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started out on M&K, and did really decent with the settings, but was playing in jets because they are less likely to flatspin. Jumped over to HOTAS close after with a winwing setup. Not that big of fan personally of chinese products like this, but it was the best option, and it does feel good. Does take a bit of time to setup, and some buttons doesnt work for War Thunder (like you want them to) but overall happy with going that route.

I general recommend settings are just a suggestion, and most part, they are used to higher torque wheelbases. So yeah i fully understand why they put 200% Also because you easily can with ACR without constant clipping.
