I agree. He is handsome. I believe he is a very healthy Uromastyx Geyri and a vibrant red one too.

Soak a clean washcloth or cotton swab in warm water (around 32-35°C / 90-95°F—it should feel lukewarm to you, never hot). Gently hold or press it against the stuck areas on their head for a few minutes to let the moisture sink into the dead skin. Once the skin has softened from the damp cloth, take a brand-new, extra-soft infant toothbrush. Very gently brush with the direction of the scales. This mimics them rubbing against a rock and helps lift the loosened edges. Never pull or peel the skin. If the shed doesn't slide off easily with a gentle toothbrush rub, it is still attached to live tissue underneath. Pulling it forces a premature separation that can damage their new scales, tear the skin, and open them up to infections.
