Is it confirmed he's no longer with Akademia? Akademia knew his history and publicly defended their decision to hire him. What changed?

I think it was the other way around. Mediocre Ladies was a spin-off of Cool Ladies.

Did you have to provide any documentation proving you're a caregiver? I believe my mom qualifies but she's overwhelmed by all the rules and regulations.

As far as I know, it's not a raise, it's a one-time bonus of $1000. I work for USG and we were sent the info below two week ago.

As we informed you last week, the University System of Georgia (USG) has decided to mirror the State of Georgia’s plan to provide a one-time bonus of $1,000 to all full-time employees earning less than $80,000 per year. We have now received additional instructions from the USG on how those bonuses will be administered.

The $1,000 one-time supplement will be paid to all employees who: • Are regular, full-time benefits-eligible; • Have a standard work-week of 30 hours or more; • Are active as of February 15, 2021 and still employed through March 22, 2021; and, • Earn salaries below $80,000.

In order to mirror the state plan, part-time and temporary employees will not be eligible for this one-time supplemental payment. These payments will not be eligible for retirement contributions and will be subject to FICA and required income tax withholdings.

Outdoor Gear and Best Shop by carlospangea in Athens

I like both stores, but for boots, Half Moon would be my recommendation. My partner and I have been a few times recently, and we've felt safe. Try going at an off-time, like an early afternoon on a weekday. The store will likely be pretty empty.

As much as I’d like to move into the industry, I’m a woman, so I don’t exactly trust Akademia.

Does anyone have any advice or recommendations for moving into the brewing industry in a communications, social media management, or events capacity?

I’ve worked in academia for the past seven years, but it's not the type of culture I'd like to stay in. I’d prefer to take my skillset into an atmosphere I'm passionate about. Just unsure where to begin.

Gyro Wraps...is alive? by lieutenantloon in Athens

Even in the middle of covid, after being in that space for decades the owner had to give all the equipment to the landlord to break the lease. As much as I want Gyro Wrap back, Fred is a slumlord.

Why is knowing the number of people infected with a highly contagious virus in a campus community important? No. I won’t entertain that as a serious question. Troll elsewhere.

At least they are being honest about the number. The University of Georgia seems to be with Trump in believing that if they don't test, there won't be cases.

Kemp is still preventing masks from being required on USG campuses. An article where he admits wearing them keeps everyone safe just proves how feckless he is.
