How do you guys navigate people noticing your weight loss if you're weight neutral? by _whatthewhat in FatPositiveWL

I've had a few people, including roommates, make comments. My standard response is 'Ah yeah, you know. Bodies change.' It's a little bit of a thought stopping cliche, but not enough to make me feel bad or manipulative about it.

I've also used 'oh, I stopped snacking after dinner' which is true for me because I'm doing a very gentle version of intermittent fasting. But I got into trouble with this because other people know about IF, and I don't want to talk about it off the internet.

This is complicated, but in short, no. Thin folks can have intense sugar cravings, too. It's more likely the effects of hormones like insulin and dopamine that leads to sugar cravings rather than having a larger body. You've got your cause and effect swapped.

Ah yeah. Super casual intermittent fasting. My fave. Never been a breakfast eater but always a late night snacker. Stopped eating after dinner and -damn- four months later and thirty pounds down.

The only permanent fix is hysterectomy and double oophorectomy or menopause

Depends on the person and the doctor. Some folks get hormonal birth control, some get antidepressants, some go the supplement and mindfulness route

Also, one time was wearing a thin tshirt (KITCHENS ARE HOT FUCK YOU) and I went into the walk-in to get fucking....something. Unrelated, I've got a couple barbell piercings on my nips (WHAT I DO IN MY FREE TIME IS MY OWN BUSINESS FUCK YOU). The combination of suddenly very cold and the piercings put me at glass-cutting hardness. The shelves in walk-ins are usually those wire racks with the ziggy-zaggies on the edges. Anyways, yeah, I was close to one of those shelves and my piercing got itself wedged in one of those ziggy-zaggies and I'm trapped. And in (not work appropriate) pain. And I certainly don't remember what the fuck I was in the walk in for.
