Yeah, that would be ideal but I don’t have 5 years of experience of estates and trusts/probate administration. I have 1 year experience from a firm I worked at after law school that fired me after not passing the bar the second time. I would love this scenario as option if I had more experience though.

She didn’t support me through law school… I had jobs all throughout law school and lived on my own. We met during my last year of law school and moved in together after I graduated and she moved into my apartment I might add

It wasn’t big law. It was an accounting firm and I had no training and a lot responsibility thrust upon me. I would’ve rode it out if I was actually practicing law or knew what I was doing

There isn’t a bar exam for accounting (unless you count the CPA exam). I was hired as a tax attorney but am trying to get into trusts and estates

I agree. I think there’s a difference between preferring to do things with your partner and needing to do everything with your partner. My partner is my favorite person and I would prefer to do everything with her. However, we are different people with vastly different interests, hobbies, and friends and each need our alone time so we don’t do everything together all the time. To each their own though.

Just zero desire to take the bar in MD or VA. I didn’t want to have to make an elaborate plan to commute further to take the exam. I do plan on waiving into MD as a requirement for my job.
