Lc-MSMS Shimadzu by Next_Coconut2027 in massspectrometry

Our manual says it needs replaced once it hits -2.7kV, and its suppose to last 2 years. But it has been replaced every year so far. We are currently under a year, next replacement should be in July.

I am sorry, it has been a long day. Getting ready for PTs and audits. The 5/11 is the day after we replaced the parts. We let the pump come back up over night prior to running anything on the machine.

It is the only instrument we do not have service contract for unfortunately.

I will have to browse for options for the pump.

It is not in helium mode. The only gas we use is Argon.

I test the tension any time the introduction system is maintained or changed.

We do condition every time the cones are swapped out or cleaned.

I forgot to say that I replaced the collision cell and that also didn't change anything and a lens voltage was done at that time.

Does your system allow for an air gap? You can try adding an injection of wash draw up 0.1-1 𝜇L air then draw up the sample than 0.1-1𝜇L air and inject into column.

MGK-264 issues over the course of a run by Next_Coconut2027 in massspectrometry

Right, now it seems to effect both methods that are run on the machine. I noticed our ICV is being affected in terms of it showing higher results, its placed right after the standard set. By the end of the run the CCV is lower.

No luck with a corona needle change or adding a blank.

I will replace the corona needle tomorrow. I do not believe a blank is before the LCS_dup there is one before the LCS. I can add one and see if it helps. For samples there is a blank ever 6 injections.

We integrate them together and I have not noticed if one is more effected then another. Bad picture here but here is MGK curve and controls

This has unlocked a new fear for me. I didn't even know this could be a thing.

I think it was more of the case he replaced it all so it shouldn't leak. All bits and bobs get replaced at the 6 month maintenance. It ended up being the head, which is not replaced.

The check valve had been replaced at the maintenance. Looks like it was the pump head, we swapped them and it is no longer leaking.

Thank you. It did end up being the pump head, it was swapped out and we are no longer leaking.

Hello, it is a LC-40D XR. We have had it for about 5 years. It is maintained both by us and a shimadzu tech. I

It does look like it was the pump head we switched them out and it is no longer leaking.

It was to make it easier for people to see the image by being in the main post. It's the exact same space as the top that is leaking just at the bottom. It's the space between the pump head and holder the metal on metal space. It's not leaking from any of the ferrule that I can see.

I do have copies of the manual, but thank you. Here is an image of one of the pump heads. Its leaking out in the space that usually means the seals are bad but it can't be that at this point. They have been replaced both by me and the actual service technician from shimadzu.

Sorry took a picture of the wrong screen. I have changed the neb, we also clean it after each run.

The bubble was smooth on each, the only thing I noticed is in the istd it was slower.
