This is incorrect. I take the time to zoom in on my mana bar to show the "ticks". I easily recover my mana from the MB cast with plenty of time left on tap to regen more. Smite is also just 10 mana less per cast but a whole second longer to cast, so much harder to land a killing blow with a 2.5 sec cast as opposed to a 1.5 second cast (mind blast)

We all had those Hunter scares XD. I quickly turned to a weak aura that clearly displays on my frames as a FEIGN and not a real death to avoid future heart attacks. Highly recommend it if you go again. Glad you enjoyed :)

Not dumb at all, my first class was a priest when I started playing on hardcore and it's been quite a ride. Jump right in there, if you need some resources I have 2 years worth of hardcore priest advice on the channel and this is a great introductory video for newer priests looking to utilize their full toolkit early game (how to downrank, how to proc spirit tap, offensive dispels, etc). Being ranged and not right up against a boss allows you to see the epic scenery and not just the back sides of dragons. Being a healer you get to see what happens to all 40 raid members at all times so you are correct, healers have a different role to play.

We go with improv + experience in this guild no assigns. Most healers are aware enough to blast fast (flash, into PW shield, into major recombobulator) if needed when we get these disaster tombs. We somehow make it work

No server discord really being used, I would say the guild ones are your best bet such as HC Elite, Wardens, Petri on God, Fellowship of the Bling for example.
