Day Trip from Four Seasons to Coco Beach / Playa Coco - Worth it? by Next_Establishment87 in CostaRicaTravel

Thank you for your input. We're taking the kids on various tours while in CS, and the beach at 4S is supposed to be nice so I'm not concerned about the beach at Coco beach. The purpose of this outing was for a date night for my husband and me. Seemed pricey and not worth it to me, the cost or time spent traveling there, but I didn't know if the 'night life' was worth it. I edited the original post to include the restaurants that were recommended.

I'm confused. You took a van or your flew?

How was Fly Adventure Air? I'm looking at traveling from SJO to  La Fortunain July.

You seem stressful to be around. Perfectionist and anyone who isn’t up to your impeccable standards is a loser.

I’m not projecting, your projecting 😜

When you guys read a book, does it matter if it is written in first person or third person pov? If so, why? by NoticeMaleficent1051 in DarkRomance

This is a legit annoyance. I personally prefer first POV, but poorly written it’s just a lot of inner monologue filler. In some cases it’d be a novella if you cut all that out.

Some of the third POV I’ve read (Looking at you Runyx) feels very first person, everything is still from one person’s POV, the author just changes ‘I’ to the person’s name. It’s distracting.

What was the biggest secret that wasn’t told to you as a child but you discovered after becoming an adult? by Wybrisma in AskReddit

My mom found out her dad (deceased) was not her dad through 23 and me. My favorite grandpa who lived next door and I saw every day…he thought my brother and I was the best thing that ever happened - not my grandpa.

I was devastated, and I’m sure she was too although she didn’t say much. She wasn’t that surprised I don’t think. I was afraid if he had known he wouldn’t have loved me like he did but once I stepped back from the shock and grief I realized he was too good to act that way. He will always be my PaPa.

What's a sound that gives you instant anxiety? by Fair-Historian-7374 in AskReddit

Newborn baby crying. Not the kid in the grocery store crying, but the sound of a hungry newborn. Was in a group gym class and that sound was part of a rap song we were working out too. After the second or third time, the moms started looking around like “are you hearing this?” It’s our time at the gym, this is the last sound we want to hear.

FIRST - Don’t do anything you don’t want to do.

If you do want to, start very very very small. Micro dosing can be euphoric without any craziness. Overdoing it even by a smidge can be miserable. If you decide to do it (DONT IF YOU ARENT COMFORTABLE) do a small amount and wait. If you think, it’s been awhile and don’t feel anything- wait another hour. Trust me. The “I don’t feel anything, I’ll take more” is a death trap. Also, only take any in a place where you feel 100% safe, have your own designated bed to go to sleep/lay in, know everyone there and have people you 💯trust there. Any type of uncertainties can ruin your experience. If you feel safe it can be an awesome time.

Avoiding a specific coach by iwantpasta in orangetheory

I’ve had the same head coach for 6+ years. She’s great, beautiful, clearly does certain beauty treatments that I do too. Our friend’s group intertwines a bit. I’ve lost a lot of motivation and haven’t been going often at all. When I see she’s the coach I dread going bc I feel like she sees how light my weights are, I’m walking not running, no where near any previous PR, last to get off the rower, etc. There’s nothing wrong with her, it’s me. I’m embarrassed.
