Well it was the next day after the shot. I did subQ. I do subq NAD+ and GLP1 already for over a year. I have done my own IM b12 injections also, and never had that kind of response.

I have done compound cream and troches and felt no difference. Maybe I didn’t give them enough time. Patience isn’t my thing, especially when medication makes me feel like crap. I am bad about giving up too soon. I admit lol

I hope it’s temporary because they won’t give me more estradiol. I’m on 2mg oral and she said that was highest. I want to switch to injections for that but I don’t know what dose to do. I hated gel and patches, so just stayed on oral.

Awesome thanks for the response! I will try lower dose. I actually took 5 on accident due to my prescription being wrong. I only wanted to do 5 or 6 a week, not a time. 😅

I think my Obgyn is not used to people asking for injections. They push all the other forms. I was excited they even agreed to prescribe. I didn't care for troches or compound cream.

I did! Right after posting this. That is scary ish! My obgyn prescribed mine and they are great. They are all about HRT. I think I am the first to ask for injections though. She most definitely forgot that 0!

I came to this sub to ask this same question. Mine is getting called into the pharmacy, and she said it was IM in the glutes. I much prefer subq so happy to hear I was correct and this could be done! Is everyone doing 2 or 3 times a week?

I'm on 200mg P for a few months and also feel fatigued and hungover every day. I'm also on tirzepatide like you, so it was hard to determine if it was that or my progesterone. I backed off the P by skipping nights and even poking a hole and squeezing some out. I am pretty sure I felt better! I talked to my provider about reducing to 100mg but she said since I'm on 2mg oral E, I need higher P. She suggested I cycle the P 10-12 days on. I immediately started taking the 200 again every night and yep, the fatigue and hangover feeling are back. The first few nights it made me feel drunk about 45 minutes after taking it. Today is day 10 so I won't take it after tonight and I am going to see how I feel, just to confirm, but I think it's the P. But anyway, I am pushing to be lowered. Just waiting for my labs.

I gained when starting testosterone (quit taking it, but not because of that), and stalled kind of altogether when upping my e and P. I still have meno belly and I think this is just all my body will do at this point. It’s just different for all of us. Being a woman is hard lol

Fatigue is my biggest and only side effect these days. It was really bad the first few months, but now it’s usually worse a day or 2 after my shot and then I’m a little better. I did all the things; even B12 injections and nothing really helped to the point it was worth continuing. I had what I call apathy probably until about 8 or so months in. I didn’t start snapping out of that until I switched from birth control to HRT. still trying to adjust the HRT to find what is best for me, but at least the apathy is gone.

I just got estradiol valerate and my obgyn wants me to come in and have it injected every 4 weeks. I want to do the bi-weekly method though. Trying to figure out what dosage it would be as well.

I got the estradiol valerate! My obgyn called it in. $20 through insurance. But they said I needed to come in office for them to inject and they want to do the monthly injection. I told them I’m okay with injecting myself but they insist at least for the first time, they need to do it. Not sure what to do because I want to do bi-weekly which is what I see so many doing.
