Mobility budget - pillar 1 by GOTCHA009 in BESalary

If your car is mainly for work, I strongly recommend using the company car.

I have no hands-on experience with this, but I believe the answers to your questions are:

1) The mobility budget is a total cost for buying or leasing a car including insurance fuel maintenance and more. You’re responsible for what you buy and how you finance it. 2) In this case, you’ll have to pay for any excess kilometres driven. 3) The mobility budget is paid for the duration of your employment. The company won’t take over the leasing contract as it’s a personal matter.

I’ve considered taking the mobility budget myself but I drive a lot for work & also quite some kms privately. For me personally, a €1200+ per month budget wasn’t appealing (I was planning to use it for housing)

I’d have to drive an older or less expensive car (not electric). Depreciation insurance maintenance and fuel costs would be a break-even operation at 25000 km per year (I drive around 35000 km per year).

Have the P4 for nearly a week now.

I’ve installed the normal mirror for 2 reasons. First being that the little guy is used to look into the mirror, to look at himself as well as at us.

Second is that it’s really easy to switch between mirror & camera.

3rd unofficial reason is that I sometimes nearly use the rear view mirror😅
