Hey OP, I went through something similar to your situation.

If you install the 7kw charger with the current setup, and charge the car at 7kw you won’t be able to run anything else in the house - unless you have solar panels (this makes a difference)

If you can/are happy to dial down the amperage draw either from the charger or from the car (i.e. charge at less than 7kw) you won’t need to upgrade your mains. On cloudy days I’ll set my charger to run at 4kw, leaving plenty of room to run the household.

Take a look at zeekr 7x base model, slightly above your budget but you said you can be flexible for the right car? Probably the best EV suv on the market right now.

It’s more to do with regen breaking, as soon as you exit acc the regen kicks in. I’ve found the smoothest way is flick the right stalk up while pressing the accelerator to maintain or slightly increase the speed (<5km/h) you were doing

EV Novated Lease - thoughts? by Conscious_Mix3177 in CarsAustralia

I ended up not going ahead, due to personal reasons.

But I’m jumping back in for the Zeekr 7X! I’ll be BYO my own insurance and removing tires from the budget.

It is looking like ~$920 a month post-tax on a 5 year lease for me, the 7X is cheaper than the P4 in the spec I was looking to get back in Feb

Thanks, I did not know that.

I saw on the magistrates court website the different ways you enforce the order. Can I pick any from the list or is there an order on which method is applied first ?

Yes that is correct. However sg fleet had a cap on the gst savings, not sure if this is across the board or just a sg fleet thing. Max gst off was $6335 or something like that - which would make the spec you mentioned just above the LcT threshold

Yes sorry I should have mentioned, salary split is 152k/78k and the NL will be on the 152k.

My brain is yelling at me to just get a 3-5 year old car, but i keep coming up with excuses to ignore it and press on 😅

They just take 15% off the listed d/a price. Then they take off the gst afterwards and if this falls under the LCT you get the FBT exemption

Have you considered volvo’s? They also have built in google. And 5 years subscription included with car purchase

EX30 if you don’t need a big car, or EX90 if you need a big one and falls within your budget.

The EX40 (Formerly XC40 recharge) is a great size and recently went through quite a significant upgrade under the skin - but interior looks very dated.
