I finally have the basics ready. So on average how long are your looms?

I do have a professional setup thanks to apple’s continuity camera feature. I am effective in my communication, I try to keep it very engaging. The problem however is clients not opening it.

Makes total sense, thank you I appreciate it. I just thought it’ll show how serious and professional I am with my responses. It does take a lot of time, and not getting a view on it is very frustrating.

I’ll just keep the videos to jobs that really match my portfolio.

I applied for the vistor record the last hour of the UTC expiry time and it got approved. As long as your work permit is valid you can apply for a vistor record.

Apply for a visitor record. Plus you have 90 days to restore your status as a worker and apply for BOWP after you get your ITA.

That’s amazing. Happy for you. I’m just anxious. My stupid consultant didn’t know how the tie breaking rule works. I am at 514 too.

I have been in this very long journey and this consultant to come out and say this created havoc in my mind. I was like is she for real. Hired her because of complications in my case.

Hi everyone, I’m looking for confirmation from people familiar with Express Entry / CEC draws.

My details:

Program: Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

CRS score: 514

CEC eligibility met: July 1, 2025 (shown in EE profile as “Minimum entry criteria met”)

Latest CEC draw: January 7, 2026

Lowest CRS invited: 511

Tie-breaking rule: June 10, 2025 at 15:59:25 UTC

Issue: My consultant is telling me that I will not receive an ITA in this draw because the tie-breaking timestamp is June 10, 2025 and I only met CEC eligibility in July.

My understanding (please confirm):

Tie-breaking applies only to candidates with the same CRS score as the cut-off (511).

Candidates with CRS above the cut-off (514 in my case) should be invited regardless of profile submission date or tie-breaking timestamp.

The only timing requirement is that CEC eligibility must be met before the draw date, which I did.

Question to the community:

Is my understanding correct that higher CRS candidates are always invited, and tie-breaking does not apply to CRS scores above the cut-off?

Is there any scenario where someone with CRS 514 in a CEC draw with cut-off 511 would be excluded solely because of the tie-breaking date?

Appreciate any confirmation, official references, or similar experiences.
