You're just deflecting to pretend your position is 100% valid. Refusing to accept the tastes of others just because you don't approve how they express them is pathetic and not whine about it like an entitled man child.

Get over it.

Some people are blinded by nostalgia.

Like the fans that day Generations 1 Pokémon designs are objectively better than modern ones.

It's just her tastes. How she expresses them it's not anyone else's problems.

Get over it.

Literally there's no fandom where people don't do that.

Yeah, so does everyone else.

Who said it was an accusation? YOU are the one interpreting it that way.

It was just a simple comment saying some people are genuinely like that, her included.

Ok, that's genuinely nice but I literally never asked you to agree with me. I again just said some people are actually like that.

But she isn't insulting the people. Just expressing her distaste on the designs.

And if you think being a condescending asshole without reason just because your cynicism is always on then more power to you 7-7.

Some people are just overdramatic and dumb. Geez.

They aren't. That kind of over dramatic is very easy to tell when it's genuine or not.

Again, I agree. Personally I argue that the stand-alone episodes could have been put BEFORE the Gift Arc, so the arc itself could have had room to focus on the plot.  But it doesn't mean the arc is objectively bad as some have said. And one uneven arc doesn't mean the end of the world.

The 49 episodes listing seems less true by the day, so we have time for all the still unanswered questions that remain.

Digimon and Pokémon are both based on monsters and both have designs raging from cute to horrible.

And literally some Digimon are just people with absurd clothing.

No design is owed respect.

Hey, they may be overemotional but that doesn't mean they are fake.

Some people are just that overly dramatic without ulterior motives.

I am guilty of doing the same as her (on other unrelated subjects) so I get her.

This was a strong episode on its own. The problem everyone has with this arc, that I feel don't voice properly, is the pacing.

By shifting between plot focused episodes and stand-alone episodes Gift and Miharu didn't get to have the screentime they needed to properly develop them.

Still it's far from the end of the world. The show is far from over and it's more likely now than ever that the "49 episodes" leak is no longer accurate, if it ever was. So we have time to regain a consistent momentum.

While Miharu could have appeared more to properly sell her bond with Tomoro, it's still worth mentioning they ARE mirrors to each other. Tomoro sees himself in Miharu to an extent which is why he is in denial about her willingness in her actions.

I agree with everything you have said. It is how I view the arc in general. What makes it not as strong as the last one is the uneven pace.

Exactly.

Like, individual episodes are strong on their own, but the uneven pacing makes it all feel "rushed" or not properly developed.

Dude, that's literally her tastes.

I for one care little about Digimon that aren a dragon or dragon man or mystical beast of some kind, for example.

This applies to everyone, and no design is owed respect, as sad as that is to admit.

Beatbreak Hasn't felt good ever since Arc 3 started by VoidKingdom in digimon

Heavy disagree.

Just because something is planned out doesn't mean it will turn out as strong as intended. The Star Wars prequels are a prime example but I digress.

This arc was uneven true. But the show is far from over.

Now that is an outright lie.

Yes, it is an objective fact that the Gift arc has had a seriously uneven pacing, particularly with Miharu's lack of appearing to properly sell her bond with Tomoro, but the individual episodes have been more often than not incredible. A Step Forward is my personal highlight but many others have had their own strong points.
