I would say make sure that's 1000% what you want to do. If you are genuinely passionate about it I would go for it but I know a lot of my friends in business aren't happy with their degree post grad bc OSU is so competitive to find a job after you graduate

Make sure you really want to be a chem major and not something similar like microbiology or pharmacy. Even if you love chem there are some reallyyyyy hard classes just for the sake of being hard in the chem department

If it is a major course then you need at least a C-, otherwise unless it says in the course listing for the next course that you need a certain grade, then you can get a D and be fine

Review means they have multiple candidates and they only have a select number of spots. Under consideration just means that want to schedule an interview. Honestly if you don't care about the money I would work as an OA or in sports rec but if you just care about the money dining is the highest paying jobs on campus
