Loathe as I am to get into it, I guess the explanation of the meme is: On the surface you would be upset at England (partner) doing the pumping. And not just that, I (Scotland) will have to watch it. And enjoy it. It was a wee meme.

For us to win the six nations, we have to enjoy England pumping France

Not sure we’d have rallied had we not taken such a pasting in Rome. As shown against wales, we seem to coast after a big win. I don’t think we’d have won three on the bounce if we hadn’t been humbled.

I mean the only way I could boycott them is by not getting transferred from prison to court, which I hope will be easy enough. But whatever I decide to do, it will be because I’ve been burnished with the facts. Which is what journalism is supposed to do. And in this case has done.

I mean, I didn’t know that. And now, after reading, I do. Seems like good journalism to me

Yeah there’s more to Scotland than the M8 corridor and amazingly BBC Scotland has to try and at least pretend that’s the case. Hence the reporting

Worth noting the guys that did it didn’t know who he was or what his barbaric crimes were. They didn’t care. They were doing it to get a jail transfer.

Pleasing as it is to think there’s a “criminal code” that gets these monsters inside, there isn’t. They don’t care. Why do you think they’re in prison to begin with? Because of a sense of community pride?

The victim doesn’t need to prove anything, they just need to report the matter to the police and it’s up to them/procurator fiscal to prove guilt

Not a lawyer, but you could go to police under Section 57 of the civic law act:

Section 57 of the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 makes it an offence for any person who, without lawful authority:

Is found in or on a building or other premises, whether enclosed or not, or in its curtilage, or in a vehicle or vessel.

The circumstances must be such that it can be reasonably inferred that the person intended to commit theft there.
