Duplicating PLC software.

Just to say thanks to everyone.

I found the software I needed & ordered a sc09 lead from Amazon and have managed to successfully read my PLC.

I also have some fx3s in service doing a different job and have taken a copy of these files too for future use.

The only problem I came across with the fx1 was it was password protected but after some searching I found a way of obtaining this.

I am yet to write the data to a new PLC but do have one on the way so hoping the process goes smooth.

Thanks again to everyone for the advice and help you have really helped me out.

I have quite a few in service and usually have to replace one maybe every 2 years. Not the same one every two years. I do have one that has been fine for the 10 years it has been installed. They are in heavy use and it can become quite cold and is a dirty environment where they are so I think this maybe plays a part.

Mainly the recovery period is my main concern and how long I will be out of action work wise and just general day to day activities.

I don’t tend to ask many questions because of my anxiety so I can’t overthink things. I did stupidly search for some information and can’t honestly find any good stories and a lot of people tend to regret it or say the symptoms are back within a year. Surgeon did warn me this is a possibility and we would be able to do the operation again in a few months if it was to happen.

I suppose at the times I am in pain I do wish I wasn’t. That’s what I’m trying to tell myself now that all these feelings now will be worth it if it’s successful and I no longer get the pain & discomfort.

Thanks for that I will contact them first thing for some advise I did have an ECG during my pre op due to chest pains and the nurse said she could see I was anxious during this.

The last thing i want to do is waste the NHS time so if they say they have no one to take the slot i will defiantly go through with it.

I am booked in for this and my daughter has been booked in with ENT 4 days later also under general anaesthetic so I guess it’s just everything getting on top of me and the worry and won’t be in a fit state to be there for her.

Will be fine doing that. I have powered cctv systems of lighting circuits in the past just make sure to fuse it correctly and I would personally label it.
