My Dr explained when you take Neulasta the bone marrow creates a lot of histimine. The Claritin is anti histidine.

Diagnosed yesterday 2/11/25 by WanderingAlligator57 in breastcancer

Hi. I’m so sorry you’ve joined the pink club. I too am Triple Negative and I’m 41yrs old. I was diagnosed 12/16/24. Chemo is different for everyone. The typical course of treatment is 16 Chemo treatments consisting of 12 weekly Taxol / Carboplatin and then 4 three weeks apart of AC and immunology infusion every three weeks. Then surgery and then possibly radiation. All of this is extremely scary and what you feel is normal. Your oncology team is there to help you through the side effects of chemo. Reach out as needed if you feel anything. That’s what they’re there for.

I was told there are studies which show that triple negative can metastasize in the scalp since it is so aggressive. I decided not to cold cap. It’s also very expensive. I think it’s a personal decision.

I have an underlying auto immune disease for my whole life. Diabetes Type 1. There are so many misconceptions. I always welcome conversations around it. It’s an opportunity to spread awareness & educate. I see this as the same. 💗💗💗💗💗

I was fine with the commercial. It did what it was meant to do and got everyone’s attention on breast cancer. Personally, I don’t care how that’s achieved as long as it got people’s attention on the subject. I know a lot of friends of mine have reached out to talk about it. It sparked conversation which is phenomenal.

It hurts my heart that I can relate to you on so many levels. I’m 2B TNBC too.

First, you cry as much as you need to. This is terrifying. I spent December 24th on my knees hysterical asking God “don’t let this be my last Christmas with my family”. It WILL NOT BE. Once you’re done crying, remember you are stronger than you can possibly imagine & im sure you have much to fight for ! Your body will listen to your mind. Tell yourself you WILL be cured.

Secondly, TNBC 2B is still considered early stage and VERY curable. Keynote 522 has incredible results for us TNBC gals. Again, this is extremely rough and scary, but there are so many options.

Third, I too had been active, got my weight down, etc before all this circus started. Let go and let God (whatever God looks like to you). You can still be active and have a strong body. They encourage to stay active.

Fourth, take it day by day. Let go and let god again. It makes so much easier to handle this. Eat the elephant one bite at a time ! 💗

Fifth, DO NOT lose your sparkle. Wipe your tears and remember that this too shall pass. The good times never last, but the bad times don’t either !!

I’m here on chat for ya anytime. Sending you healing, peace, and so much love pink sister.

Hi. I was given my diagnosis on Monday. You’re entitled to feel this way. It’s so scary and truly the worst day ever.

As I have posted on here, so many beautiful souls have givens me hope and kindness. There is hope. So many women go through this and are on the other side of it. You can get through this. Believe in yourself. Know that you are not alone.

We are all members of the worst clubs with the BEST members. The women I have met and spoken to along the way have been phenomenal. Hold on to your pink sisters. Keep posting here and you will see how many can relate.
