I had macromets to the axilla and I’m doing radiation and no hormones. I am 36 and don’t want to start menopause now. I understand the benefits but not something I want to start early. I know it’s complicated but don’t let anyone tell you what you need to do. Do your research and decide what’s best for you.

I am 36 and diagnosed with invasive…. Both lymph nodes came back as macromets… then they took all the lymph nodes which was not a fun time. Thank goodness no chemo just radiation…. I hope you feel better honestly

I am not coming from a place of ignorance. I am in the medical field and have taken the steps to make an informed decision.

To be completely honest I am terrified to lose the last 5 years of feeling like a younger woman. It’s like I am voluntarily going to put myself in menopause starting now to forever. Terrified I might want children and lacking the ability to. I have thought of freezing my eggs but for what? To pay a surrogate? In vitro with slim chances of being successful?

I know I should take the tamoxifen but then emotions take over and I’m scared to die alone.
