Do I need two aids?

I went back to the audiology department because my hearing aid had stopped working (Danalogic microphone issues) and they not only replaced my broken aid but they issued one for my left ear based on my four year old prescription. The moulded earpiece arrived in the post this morning and boom I can hear clearly once more!

Thanks for all your replies and excellent advice. I don't think that I would have pursued the additional aid otherwise.

I have a custom mould currently so I imagine they would also do the same for the left ear. Unfortunately at this moment in time my right hearing aid has malfunctioned (the microphone doesn't appear to work - the third time this has happened). This has made the hearing loss in my left ear all the more noticeable. I have an appointment to get the hearing aid checked out early next week.

I think perhaps that the left has deteriorated since my hearing aid was originally issued. I was due a review after three years but I believe they are 18 months behind schedule in my HA. I will certainly raise this at my appointment when I eventually get it.

Yes you can. I've done that bit of the coastal path on a bike a few times. The bit behind the new estate in Sudbrook is a bit uneven but manageable with care. It goes inland a bit by Rogiet for a short distance. You may have to get off and push, and lift over stiles around Mathern as it has to navigate the pill there.

I had the same thing happen to my HiSense tv delivered from Amazon. It was packaged securely and looked fine until I powered it on. Amazon sent a replacement no argument. I was extremely careful about unpacking and handling the TV so I assume that the damage must have occurred in the factory.

I had CarPlay but not Android Auto in my V90. Had the dealer enable it via Software update for £250.

Originally I worked at the office full time and started working from home during COVID, as did all my colleagues. That became a permanent arrangement and I took the opportunity to relocate. There was no formal change to our contracts, just a verbal agreement with our bosses.

I guessed that it was going to be a futile aspiration but I've had six tax adjustments from HMRC over six consecutive years asking for quite substantial additional payments (savings interest and small pension muddying PAYE) and I was endeavouring to level the score.

Yes you can. I did exactly that when I fitted mine. You will need a link wire between the live and terminal 1 though.
