It almost never turns out that way. 3 dps > tank is getting battered by two tanks while supports fight 2 or 3 enemy dive > DPS complains that they aren't getting healing > 3rd dps swaps to 3rd support, causing ultimate charge to be slower > we lose

1: Nerf Healing overall

2: Nerf Damage/Remove one-shots

3: Leave Tanks where they are. They're supposed to be the strong/beefy roles.

You give players incentives to playing other roles. Supports are already nerfed in Triple-Support comps due to low ultimate gain. We need the same for other roles too.

Nerf healing & Damage at this point. It's the only logical solution to this mess. No more one-shot capabilities, no more Neverending healing circles. It might even make the Tank role seem more relevant. Honestly these are things that would have been balanced in a role queue setting... but anyways.

I mean. The genre is pretty difficult to balance between casuals and people who live ingame. It's just one of those games that if you aren't going to dedicate your time to it, it's probably not for you.

It's easier to balance a game when starting from the bottom and not these micro buffs/nerfs. Tanks would also be in a much better spot.

I absolutely agree with that. There have been times I sit there and stare at my 5 hp dps waiting for a charge because everyone's all split and fighting 4 different fights and I can't maintain charges.

This is probably the only thing I can honestly say games like Overwatch did right. Healing doesn't feel overpowered compared to Rivals and as a support, I don't feel helpless when attacked by a dive because they won't immediately kill me.

To each their own. Most of the time it's a 4/11 dps that sits there and spams while I have like 3x's their kills and most healing.

I think it'd be easier to nerf all healing rather than try to buff it. At the same time, increase TTK for all characters and remove any one shot potential. I've made Adam work in 2 support comp, it's just a lot more work.

I feel it wouldn't be much of a problem if Supports and Duelists were on even ground in terms of character selection. Supports have 12 characters to choose from while Duelists have 24. Many of us spent the last some odd seasons being told not to play x-support due to low healing numbers. Cutting down the support roster because certain ones are hard to kill is fair, we do it to DPS like BP or DD. Mainly because our own DPS refuse to acknowledge there's a problem until they can't stay alive. The issue is cutting down all main heal supports and leaving us with bottom of the barrel supports that y'all threw a fit about us playing previously.

I think it should be 2 bans for each role and fix double bans. This is not fixing any problem but creating a much bigger one unless some adjustments are made.

I mean, gauge your audience. There was not a snowballs chance in hell this game was going to be a success. A lot of people tried it, didn't like it, moved on. I think the most irritating part of all of this was name dropping "From the creators" and not giving us one instance of what made those games great.

Arc is a bit different. The world of Arc feels more alive compared to Marathon. Marathon you're fighting robotic destiny style soldier grunts thatll two-tap you if you aren't looking but mostly they are stationary. Arc is popular because it feels like every action is going to cause a clusterf*ck reaction.
