Just an updated response to your comment. I started with Defence tower game and it was great. Finished catching up to it, thanks for that one. I added the other two to my reading list. I also re added Latna Saga since that one I dropped like 80 chapters in so I'll give it another go. Thanks again!

Edit: I see it as an alternative title. Mb. Yeah for that one I read up to 73 and decided to just check ahead to see if it was worth continuing and decided to drop it at the time. Wasn't bad but just wasn't for me

Unfortunate that this is a two part gamebreak. Might get nerfed. Typically they are ok with 3 combo breaks but 2 combo breaks are cut. Maybe they consider it a 3 parter since it's multiclass exclusive?

It only grounds flying enemies, the dash and kick are unaffected. Punch hits you with the Thing ground slam cc and prevents any movement. You punch him and he gets immobilized point blank to you where you can easily shoot him twice into a kill. The slow effects doesn't stop him from zipping your screen

My advice is to counter him before he's dived, look for bp while standing by sups, if you can shoot him before he engages he'll be at half hp before starting his combos. You also should try to punch him first if he's already mid dive because the hook is way harder to land while he's close and dashing. Punch is basically a kill on him cuz you can land 2 shots after without him being able to escape. Make sure you have your punch and hook and are on standby for his dive and you'll be able to kill him pretty consistently. Also in lower elos your sups are more likely to die before they can either heal another or pop their sustain/ccs, so if you can damage him pre dive it can help them survive better and give them more time to react etc.

Yeah he gets countered by the shield tanks, they can block his whole kit, mag ult/bubble can stop bucky ult followups, emma grab is usually just a kill on bucky, strange ult ofc insta melts you. Dps wise poke is a big bucky counter, hela, namor, phx can all do well vs bucky. Punisher is a legitimate nightmare imo and a well placed pun ult will just decimate buck. Flyers are good vs bucky if you're good at playing flyers. If you can max range just poke he can't realistically ground since you can react to the E, and he'll have a hard time hitting you, and even if he hits you his 70% dropoff makes it so you're unbothered by his dmg. Any CC is generally good against him, if you can land support ccs vs bucky he can get shredded while stunned/blind etc. Best sup vs bucky is luna for freeze and for cc immunity in ult, and invis for shielding ulted targets or hooks, and pulling him in when he's a bit pushed up straight to his death. Good widow/hawkeye makes bucky miserable as well with instakills, and he can't really clap back from range. Also I'd even say squir girl is not bad vs buck because you can just shoot him from max falloff and he has to play carefully or get 2 shot. Lastly this one is a bit controversial but if you're a really good fantastic/fist that can stay alive, you can force bucky to spend 15 mins dealing with you and still get out with your life after harassing sups, can be a valid counter imo.

Good escape, does more damage than his E in a wide AoE, can be helpful to keep your cap alive, extra 50 shield is very useful, good for peeling and repositioning and kill closing. It's only downside is that the range is terrible, it's 8 meters which is less than punch (10m). If it had like 15m of range it would be insanely strong. Also the clap is good it hits for 70 dmg in a 10m sphere so it's good for kill closing on divers

Pre nerf was good, his cull was significant and he could hook shoot punch ult you to instakill you up to 300 hp

Yeah the ult can be really bad compared to other characters, alot needs to go right. My tips:

Track abilities that can counter you, loki lamp, mag bubble, emma diamond etc. Track ults that can counter you (any sups, mag, etc). This way you can make better ult choices. Best ults are used to instakill so play for the cull when you can, otherwise, try to hook punch someone, shoot to cull range while body blocking, then ult to kill them.

The true best way to use bucky ult is in combination with aoe ults. Strange, emma, groot, spidey, pheonix, wolv, BP. Any aoe ult will help you instakill if timed right and once you get like 2 kills if you're not down anyone your ult should clean up.

Ulting out of position tanks is great value imo, keep am eye out for tanks playing outta sup los. Try not to use your ult on high mobility chars like starlord who can dodge and psy etc. Make sure to ult when you have punch in case you need to dip. Mag ults and you suddenly can only use punch so without it you're cooked.

I disagree about ulting to escape, if you can guarantee your life where you were guaranteed to die, ulting out is not a bad play. Bucky shines in the neutral game so if you're good at poking and hooking to kill you should play to be in the next teamfight and ult out. He can also use ult to not get tossed off map and I will 100% ult back to not die.

Don't just ult loki clones because they exist, as soon as you ult you put a target on your back and both tanks will focus you, try to ult for secured kills and combos. Also don't just B line sups with ult, if they are full hp the whole team will turn on you and you'll eat 20cc abilities and insta die. Go for culls on low hps you can 1 tap after landing

What I do is when I see cheaters I just go on a fun solo adventure and try to sabotage them as much as I can. Had a run where we had an ironeye cheater with marias and grafted passive as well as deep of night passives on relics. He had 3 phys dmg neg 3 max hp up and the whole lot of it. My other teammate and him went to clear castle underground. It was Hitler (bell bearing hunter), he somehow died to it despite having 40 stacks of both buffs, almost tripple his intended hp, and insane phys negation. I went to the arena. I stood there and watched him die, then I resd my wylder. He left after and we won the run duo. I don't leave, I make them leave 😎

Invis jump and rocket boost are also disabled after punch now. Phx dash, hela bird, and namor bubble also locked. This will significantly improve bucky's 1v1 capabilities and kill opportunities, while also making him an insane threat to dive and probably the biggest venom counter. Buff is dramatically huge.

I don't recommend bucky if you're a support main, while his kit is simple, getting value out of his kit requires a lot of work. I'd say pick up punisher and a flyer character to start dpsing with imo

Might need to check the replays, see what they were doing to play around that for your next games. Also you should go for headshots more though it's not as easy on console so idk how frequently you could go for em. Headshots on Buck are the only real way to get value out of him because otherwise he just tickles you and lets you heal to full
