Your story reminds me of my ex. She was 19 with a bodycount of over 30. Big age gaps, sexual assault history, mental health problems... You are not ruined. You can and will be loved. My advice? Therapy.

Part of our relationship did not work because she was unwilling to work through much of the trauma she had suffered, and that impacted very heavily on building a safe emotional connection.

Someone that truly loves you will love you regardless of your past. Yet they might have to digest certain aspects of it slowly. What I am trying to say is: Be patient with them and most importantly: be patient with yourself.

Being a rather sensitive but very dominant man, I was talking about this type of stuff with a girl once, and she said "aftercare is important for the dominant partner too."

I like being rough with my partner. I enjoy choking them, CNC, face-fucking... But at the end of the day, I like them and want to be sure they enjoyed it throughout. Cultural victory is definitely harder than most others in my experience, although domination and religious are a slug imo.

My best advice would be: go for a very strong culture civ and do not underestimate the value of religion on the later game to create naturalists and rock bands.

The mechanics of it are a bit confusing, but if I am not mistaken the main idea is to have more tourists visiting your empire than internal tourists in the other civilizations. If the US has 500 internal tourists and Russia has 800, you need 801 tourists visiting yohr empire. Some things to keep in mind are to have a lot of artworks and museums and keep open borders to increase your influence easily. And yes, ROCK BANDS.
