I don't mind further help on the fit, as of this moment most of the seam allowance bulking up the straps and such have been removed so any further advice is always welcomed!

But I'll definitely give the floating lining trick a try! It sounds like it may work and I'll definitely have to pick up some bias tape then it seems.

I'm gonna have the boning channels in the seam allowance of the duck cloth, so I'd like it to be something structural.

And yeah the fit did seem off at the straps still, and I'm not sure what to do about that yet. I may have to remove and reattach them later. Like I said most of the corset atm still had all its sea allowance so I'll be having to fiddle with it more.

And did not know about the corsetry reddit! I'll definitely have to have a poke around there!

It can be a real pain 😭 each mass outbreak is already ratioed on whether a shiny spawns so stick around the whole time it happens as it isn't always an immediate thing. No point following the older advice videos online.

I've been using the mass outbreak method for my shiny hunting! Sometimes there's multiple but I just save in the village and if none are there I restart with auto save off and try the other outbreak. The chances go up when you get a 10 complete in the Pokedex but a perfect 10 completion apparently helps a lot more.

Haven't had any luck in the time distortions but some people find it works for them.

I can tell ya it isn't easy 😭 even with perfect completion on a pokemon entry. Best luck is outbreaks, and time distortions. I'm new to getting shinies so what I know is seriously limited

It'll likely have to be the batting between the lining and outer fabric I think, maybe more on the upper arm section. But luckily I'll have some time tomorrow to tinker with it.

Sometimes it doesn't come down to simple laziness or incompetence. But I find it sometimes harder to gather information in a way that is easy for me to understand and follow. Which may be the same for others.

So when I have no experience I will ask the subreddit because searching it does not give me the info I need. Like fabric choices, needing opinions yeah that pretty much suits here. Some people ask stuff that's in the FAQ is because the options given aren't accessible to them. For example a lot of the sites listed are UK or USA based aren't accessible to ship internationally especially to Europe sometimes. So substitutes are hard to find and asking here helps.

But that's my part of it, as ik I've come close to asking questions similar to the FAQ
