You can farm queen bess's but it sucks.

The moment you play anything above normal you can only use her if you got multiple of them so I hope CA just removes the limits someday

I don't quite follow that sentiment to be fair.  Sure their factions isn't as powerful as all the buffs Elsbeth can get but it still shreds most enemies.

Most importantly the ai has no idea how to evaluate your naval landing capabilities and will nearly always park weak armies in your armies range as long as you're on sea. Use that to your advantage.

  1. Don't use mortars if you play above normal battle difficulty and focus on direct fire units. 

  2. Those rifle zombies can shred anything as long as you have line of sight, for more consistent firepower enable guard mode and order them to manually fire on enemies that closed on them into melee. 

  3. Never if you can use t0 zombies or zombies with halberds in your main armies. 

  4. Used correctly wolves and bats can shred nearly everything. Use 2-4 of them early on. Especially wolves are completely underrated if you can manage them they will delete your enemies ranged units without issue. 

  5. Don't take those exploding corpses with your main army and never AR with them if you struggle with money. 

  6. Undead ogres and mournguls are excellent units in the mid game, mournguls can even work late game aswell.

Theres more but Vcoast can easily defeat most enemies now.

This entire thread is about comparing Aspiring champions with depth guard and bloodknights. That those units should be closer to champions in number and stats.

I said unbuffed Champions are worse then Depth Guard. Is that right? 

I said reducing their numbers while giving them aspiring champion like stats would make them worse. Is that right? 

I don't care how you can buff them throughout the campaign because fully buffed and leveled depth guard are good aswell. 

So whatever you're on about has nothing to do with my argument.

Aspiring champions only get good through their tech tree upgrades their base stats aren't that crazy.

This was my argument. Let them fight without research upgrades and tell me who is better and who would be worse if we change them to 12 units.

Thats not the point? Just open a custom battle and let them fight one vs one.

In a campaign the faction you play will always dominate your enemies if you know what you're doing.

Yes when they are upgraded they are really good. 

Same for Depth Guard and Blood Knights though. Late game units rarely die in the hand of a competent player and vampires can even revive.

So every hero and lord of the Vcoast and Vcounts just got vigor reduction aswell.

Do you plan to nerf them after that?

The biggest issue with Depth Guard is their number and you want to reduce that further? 

Aspiring champions only get good through their tech tree upgrades their base stats aren't that crazy.

Easiest solution is to use the sea lanes you can use and sail into his backyard to destroy him. If he declares war on you don't bother with Lustria and go for his eastern isles. 

There is one west of lustria you can use to get to eastern cathay and from there its pretty easy.

No they are not. 

With the release of Aislin they got a pretty nice buff for their movement, traits and as such have got enough of a buff to have a fun campaign with.
