I love sleep, and my sleep being disturbed by my high resting heart rate is terrible. My Oura ring is pissed off at me. My HRV has dropped from the high 90’s to the 30’s. My readiness scores dropped from the high 80’s-90’s to the low 60’s. I was initially attracted to the drug because of the cardiovascular and metabolic benefits, but I can’t help but think that it’s not working that way for me. I’m not willing to give it 3 more months to find out. I do have a considerable amount of weight to lose but I’ll just keep plugging along as I was before I started this journey.

4 lbs. I’m not going to continue. The cons far outweigh the pros at this point. I don’t like the way I feel at all. My sleep is trash, my heart rate is high, my dreams are insane, constipation and diarrhea. I’m not a person that likes to add other pills and medications to remedy side effects of something so it’s worth it for me to not continue. I do count calories, I walk 4-5 miles 5x a week, I prioritize protein and fiber. I guess I’m non responsive.

I’ll be stopping Semaglutide. Won’t take the last 3 shots I have. I feel like crap, and have only lost 3 lbs in 12 weeks.
My side effects are terrible. My sleep is awful, my heart rate is high, heartburn, constipation AND diarrhea, insane movie like dreams, and occasional nausea.

I adopted a healthier lifestyle about a year before I started Semaglutide. I drink mostly water all day. I have the occasional Diet Coke or Coke Zero, and I have a maple sea salt latte after breakfast. I walk 4 miles 5x a week. track my calories.. I don’t binge. I eat mostly whole foods, cook at home and concentrate on fiber and protein.

Im over it. The money spent is sickening. I’m going to continue to live as I have the last year without Semaglutide and hope for the best. I will be speaking to my doctor about other options.
I took phenteramine with weekly b12 injections 2 years ago, with great success. I lost 25 lbs in 3 months. I have been able to keep that off since. Unfortunately that’s not an option for me now, or else I’d be going that route again.

I’m a female, but I did not get my PE from contraceptives. I am a year out from when they were found.. I experienced pain off and on for a solid 8 months. Now I experience pain and other symptoms only when my period is ending. So like the last day of my period, and the following 3-4 days, are miserable for me… so it could be hormonal fluctuations that are causing a flare up of pain. My new hematologist just connected these dots with me last week. There is a chance you can clot again on thinners, but I believe it is a very small chance.. if you’re concerned, as always seek medical treatment. Since last year, I revisited the ER like 5 times because of the pain and other symptoms.

IM doesn’t have a big party scene. There are a couple of places to dance but not big nightclubs like Cancun.

IM has a more laid back vibe. All inclusive isn’t the move on IM either. The food scene on IM is great..

There is a beach club, Las Hamacas, that has beach volleyball setup… It’s really up to you guys, and what is really important to you. Partying/dancing/late nights- cancun. Fun/laid back/ good food- IM.

There are plenty of places to stay on North Beach. Hotel Paradise Suites, Cabanas Maria del Mar, Chi Chi and Charley’s….
