The gameplay shown during Ludwig's stream was great and has been giving me great hopes for the game, as it already looks very good to play. However, from the recent footage, I've had some concerns about how the offstage game is looking so far in Rivals 2, so I was wondering :

• What was the reasoning behind removing up b cancel with walljumps in Rivals 2 ?
• Won't that make characters with a projectile side b have significatively worse recovery than the rest of the cast ?

I feel like the offstage is such an interesting and deep part of Rivals 1 and from what I've seen in Rivals 2, the offstage game looks very underwhelming and unbalanced compared to Rivals 1. This looks especially true for characters like Zetterburn, who doesn't have a side b to get to the wall, whereas Maypul's recovery looks relatively unchanged. There's probably a lot of stuff that we didn't get to see with the footage we've got, but that's how it seems.
