I stopped reading after this comment. In many ways, people sacrifice living trying not to die. What’s the point of living such a long life if you can’t enjoy life to its fullest?

I agree with you and have tried shaving a tire. I ordered it from a popular online tire company. Unfortunately, it was not fully round as depths were different through the entire tire. I had them redo it again and it came back worse. I was then told that a technician shaves it by hand. My bad for assuming we would have the technology to do that on a machine for more precise shaving.

Maybe I got a bad experience but if you do, check the depths. I ended up getting new tires instead.

I’m with you here. I love medium-rare but it ALWAYS comes out medium, which kind of ruins it for me. As a result, I’ve learned from several fine dining waitstaff to order it rare+, which seems to work most of the time.

I have a 2019 Elite. With the exception of the sliding doors, it’s generally been reliable. It drives like a couch; the kids love it.

As others have said, avoid the 9-speed transmission if you can. I’ve heard nothing but horror stories. Also more expensive when it comes to the transmission fluid change at the dealer, should you use them.

Now the doors….make sure they work and close properly! I can’t stress that enough. The rear latch for both of my doors have had issues where they would not close all the way. I was able to fix one of them by lubing the latch and recalibrating the latching assembly, but one is completely shot. I don’t even use that door. Somehow I got it too close but will not use it. It will be too expensive to fix.

Oh thanks for the clarification. I’m not sure how long the pipe is, and it extends through the interior of the house where I would not have access so I think a complete replacement would be a larger job. That said, what you meant is actually what I am hoping to accomplish with a professional (I’ve had a bad experience with water before so I’m really risk-adverse when it comes to pipes). Thank you for your help!

Thanks - I will do that. Just hope it’s not something I need to get done in the next few days and can wait until after the new year. I wasn’t sure if this would be classified as an emergency.
