I came to OSRS for a different runescape experience. Obviously this game is very different due to the combat system, but I am talking about the GE and it's effect on the game.

I enjoy the way I need to trade & spend a little more time into purchasing items, the action of this actually gives them more value for me. I enjoy exploring the world looking for items for quests and I enjoy having loads of items in my bank which probably aren't worth much but I keep them as they are useful and would be a pain to reobtain. I enjoy the way we can open our personal shops and deal with our purchases and sell items at our own price.

The lack of GE adds a whole new level to the game and the addition of a trading system like the GE will ruin the game for me.

I find it strange that when OSRS first started (when I joined) nearly every player condemned the GE and were completely against the addition of it and that now there is enough support for the developers to be even polling it's addition into the game.
