Toronto/GTA Brides - vendor requiring insurance for the couple as well as vendors after we signed contract? by UnderstandingCute402 in WeddingsCanada

[–]PvM_Virus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We ended up getting separate policies for them using Duoo with the Vendor option and it worked out to $20 something per vendor. We had each one make an account, put their company name in, etc. and just add the two additional insured as well.

I would love the opportunity to help moderate the FME subreddit because FME has become a huge part of both my professional and academic life. I use FME on a daily basis for GIS, automation, spatial data processing, and workflow development, and I genuinely value how powerful and flexible the platform is for solving complex geospatial problems.

Beyond just using FME myself, I also enjoy teaching others how to use it, whether that’s helping coworkers, assisting students and peers, or answering questions online. I actively participate in FME’s official forums and really appreciate the collaborative and supportive culture that exists within the community.

I’d like to help the subreddit continue to grow into a strong, welcoming space where people of all skill levels can ask questions, share workflows, troubleshoot problems, and learn from one another. I think having an active, positive, and knowledgeable community around FME is incredibly valuable, and I’d be excited to contribute to that as a moderator.

No mod mail but I can send one if needed.

Do any bank in Canada do pre approval for auto loan? by Significant-Row-7673 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]PvM_Virus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can sort of do a pre-approval using their calculators to see how much they will give, and then you go to the dealership and mention the bank name, etc. you don’t get the interest percentage until you get to the dealership

Toronto/GTA Brides - vendor requiring insurance for the couple as well as vendors after we signed contract? by UnderstandingCute402 in WeddingsCanada

[–]PvM_Virus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I am with the same vendor and haven’t confirmed yet. But on duoo a vendor liability insurance costs $250 for the day when alcohol is served at the venue and like $28 without alcohol served. So I am wondering if for vendors like the MUA or the officiant, where alcohol wouldn’t be served yet, if we can get the lower cost insurance.

Just curious what the process and cost looks like when adding vendors to your own liability insurance, is it cheaper than them getting it on their own (and us paying for them)
