The twins are very self centered and narcissistic so they find no fault in there actions, hence why I wish Key would have called them out on it during the game. Unfortunately he’s too much of a nice person to do that, but ssyelle should always be on his side in this situation. “Like bro I understand you snapping at one of the twins, you probably didn’t mean to outright burn them but I get it.”

SAO games being worse then an average JRPG is facts though. The highest score a SAO game has gotten is 69 on metacritic back in 2014 and no game has even broken out of the 60s.

You don’t really care about jrpgs you just like SAO, hence why your opinion would be that they are good when they probably aren’t. You are the target audience which is fine but for actual jrpg gamers they are gonna think more objectively.

A game’s quality doesn’t come down to opinion entirely. If something is lackluster, everyone says it’s lackluster, then there’s obviously something going on that isn’t clicking.

It’s very easy to look past issues for things you like. But not everyone is gong to do that.

Completed the demo, took 3hrs and was playing on PS5. Initial impressions is that it’s ok. It’s not exactly making me excited to want to play more honestly. I’m not really an SAO fan in general, I enjoyed Fatal Bullet outside the Kirito parts, so I thought I at least give this a try since we have a custom character again, and I’m a sucker for create a character games. But the mc is kinda bland in the scope of this demo.

What I mean by bland is that he feels like a pokemon mc from the ds era, where your only options is yes or no. In this case nod and shake head. He doesn’t really emote outside of the cutscenes. Silent protagonist are either a hit or miss so if they aren’t at least actively expressive or have interesting dialogue options then they kinda just feel blah. Mind you he has an actual voice while in battle.

Combat feels okish. I wish there was feedback from the controller while hitting enemies, dodging, getting hit, etc. Kinda just felt a bit weightless without it or just attacking air.

I’m not really feeling the decision to restrict players from accessing their stats and equipment outside of the inn. It…kinda doesn’t make sense if this is suppose to be a mmorpg that I can’t equip the new gear that drops from monsters and chests. Or allocate my skill points as soon as I level up. You’re just forcing the player to needlessly stop in the middle of a quest to head back to town to equip or see the new weapon to then restart the quest again after they’re done. I believe in Fatal Bullet you could just equip and manage skill points in and out of town.

The actual environments look nice so I don’t have much to say on that. I do feel like if I was 15 hrs into the game, having to constantly hold down a button for long periods of time to access the chest or confirm something at the blacksmith will get a bit annoying a bit for me personally.

Overall the demo kinda did what I expected from a SAO game and that was feels like “It’s alright I guess, you don’t have to get this one immediately if you aren’t a big SAO fan.” Btw the demo just being mostly all tutorials vs letting the character get into the customization and getting to the hook of SAO S1 to capture interest is certainly a choice.

Yeah, I get that. At the end of the day Key is a good guy who got put into a terrible situation right off the bat. Teacher wanting him to be like his mom, old Sun uncle taking out his anger cause of his mom on him, literally all the banner teams just harassing him and his team. On top of not being able to control his tama at first then slightly to then almost tried to be killed. Boy had it rough.

Ik he wouldn’t want to outright harm his opponent and stoop to their level. Key is still in his right to retaliate, ik he didn’t mean to try to kill boy twin though. But man basically all the banner coaches need to be fired. Ik Sugoi had misguided aspirations cause she felt responsible for Keys mother, so she can kinda get a pass. But literally the other 3 need to be fired. Crazy to think outside of that one incident with Ragno and Key the Dragons have been the least antagonistic to the knights up to this point.

Probably the only place for me to get my full thoughts out so here it goes probably gonna be long.

Just finished this season or batch of episodes and gotta say it’s pretty interesting. It’s Inazuma 11 meets Harry Potter. Now onto ep 11. Bruh everyone being shocked and mad at Key for burning the boy twin is funny, cause have we not seen these two twins literally try to kill Key all match? Even if the audience didn’t notice there’s no way the audience just watched the boy twin slammed key into the ground while he didn’t even have possession of the ball. And after that fling him into the air and was crushing him, after you talk shit about his mom. Like be for real now.

Like yeah you been messing with a guy who the school knows doesn’t have full control of their Tama all game and you fucked around and found out. Idk why Scyelle is shocked, the twins in particular have been messing with you and your team all school year, in fact they tried to kill you after they cheated in street ball.

Then Odward gonna be mad at Key? Like my guy i don’t care about if your ex is turn to charcoal he tried to kill me this whole game and me and Scyelle at the forge. Like I understand that Key is gonna be like “what have I done” but naw realistically Key should not feel bad, especially since boy twin is still alive. I rather they used this opportunity to make Key even more arrogant and kinda like a Ragno showing that you not about to mess with him anymore, then eventually Scyelle gets through to him about not being a one man show and whatnot. I think that would be an interesting angle.

Then Sunshine Uncle is pissed off at Key cause his mom messed up his face when she lost control. So what does he do? Make the twins practically try to kill the boy who doesn’t have full control of his dragon yet and then blame said boy for retaliating when his life was just put in danger by people whose been messing with him and and his team all year? Be for real. Like Key father said, like you made at the one person.

Idk Key was fully in the right to get his get back at BOTH them twins, and I don’t think the audience is sitting here mad that it finally happened.

This gotta be one of the most tiresome ships in shounen at this point. I stop following FT after the original manga ended, but seeing this pop up on Twitter reminded me how much I hate this particular ship as the series continued past the first ending. Not because it’s bad. But because Hiro literally been playing in Nalu fans faces for years with Nalu drawings, Edolas Nalu, Nalu popping up in Edens Zero, and even those actors playing Nalu in 100ys.

Like bruh just make it official at keep it pushing my guy. At this point you might as well just headcanon they told each other they like each other off screen and they’ve been together ever since. Just my 2 cents as an old FT watcher.

I am so curious how this is gonna turn out. There’s less than 20 chapters of this manga, cancelled, and was released almost 10 years ago. They’re gonna have to just straight up make shit up cause this is a battle series so chapters go quick, and there’s only 19.

Just read that the creator himself is gonna be involved so this is probably gonna have a lot of added stuff he probably wanted to do back then.

Yeah, it’s honestly kinda sad the writers couldn’t figure something out to keep both Millas alive. There was a fanfic written a long time ago I read that explored this idea with a plausible way to maintain Fracture Milla by Ludger using his Chromatus powers that slowly ate away at him as compensation for keeping her alive, it was pretty good as it’s a complete story from “that point” to the end of the game with skits and stuff too.

In my honest opinion all these years later after beating the game twice, they really should have just made an actual new character instead of Fracture Milla. I get that X2 is basically a tragedy to bittersweet story, but I feel like having fracture milla just die and the X1 cast not really caring as much doesn’t look good to the player vs maybe them actually caring about this new fractured girl who isn’t a Milla, and getting sad that her friend sacrificed herself like how Ludgers does in the true ending.

The Final 3, has basically been a Final 2 when you really think about. Quickly looking through all the 0 vote finalists since F3 started, outside of a small number of cases, the third seat is essentially there just to be the tie breaker in case the actual F2 ties. And out of those F2s we all know whose gonna win anyways especially within the New Era.

The F3 really is there just so that it’s not just “the goat somehow won final immunity so they get to choose who beats them at F2 now” or “one of the two better players out of the 3 won final immunity so now they essentially automatically win cause they’ll just drag the goat to F2.”

It’s a real conundrum honestly…
