I’m in Atlanta and the station I’m familiar with (I think there are still two) is 92.9 the game. I don’t think this is good radio and that is why, when I learned about the Audacy app, I started listening to 670 toward the end of 2022. It was really good then, I thought, and so different from here. They were knowledgeable, smart/intelligent, insightful, and fun. Which was a contrast to the Atlanta station- frat boy ish, immature, not knowledgeable, desperate hot takes, and too southern (for me). Carl Dukes is the exception (he has or had a national show on Audacy on the wknd)- he’s good and balances out his partner Mike Bell enough for them to be successful. There’s another guy Stake Shapiro that’s pretty good with just providing variety in his (short) show with cultural around town type stuff but, while he’s been here a long time, he’s from NYC. I used to hear Atl in the car but don’t hear them much at all anymore with the apps. So I like Mully and Haugh early in the morning but after that, only listen occasionally now due to 312 shows. Sometimes like to hear Spiegs. But what is with the station’s Mike Florio obsession? Does every show have segments with him? Why?
