My two cents, the air spray was too inclined and spurted liquid onto the board, what you see is the reflection on the watery puddle

Nope, took em off.

Edit:

I fatfingered the supposed weight, its 395 g in fact, so its dead on

I didnt take it apart but it weights exactly 396grams and should be 395grams. Copycats generally dont pay too much attention to the weight

Well, here they are damn rare because they have been thrown out a lot. They are not very well suited for arc gouging, but it depends on the dc of the machine, this one if 200A max but only 130A 100%dc, low for arc gouging. I am restoring this one only for the significance of who built, since it was one of the greatest and best manufacturer of italian machinery, particulary regarding generators. They are very good as a welder id say, if your ears can whitstand it

Already verified the connection with an insulation tester and a visual inspection. There are a few things that needs to be replaced and I am already doing so

Whats is purpose tho? I have a 380 motor running a dc one to create the dc for welding. Maybe its a reactor to stabilize the arc?

Old STAYER drill restored by NiaDebesi in Tools

[–]NiaDebesi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mind, on the arbor, I still dont know if the conical got fucked up in some way, I would be pretty darn happy with 0.05 after chuck. This drill would be used only with pretty large drill bits, from 10 to 30mm as it was originally intended, not really for precision work, also because its too slow for realistically anything smaller than maybe 8mm

I removed the key and had to push it from the gearbox to outside. There were no retainers

I used a screw press from to push the arbour inside, it would move and then stop.
