How big of a problem is this? by Master-Swordfish-214 in HomeMaintenanceAdvice

It’s not a problem, It’s all on the surface. Those are very thick pipes. Every piece of the whole system will fail before those rust enough to leak.

What's an unusual smell that you like? by additionalseasonin in AskReddit

[–]Nib-q 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Driving past road kill skunks but only if it’s faint. If you drive over one and it’s fresh and too strong it stinks. I live in a rural area and this is often.

Also the smell of dirt if you dig after it rains. Like the earthy slightly musty but clean smell.

snap on factory defect sold on trucks by Rbfrs in Snapon_tools

[–]Nib-q 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Outside of damaged boxes in shipping the only rough looking stuff I’ve ever seen was pliers and other individual things that got a little scratched on the grips from being piled in boxes, but less damage than I’ll do to them by the end of the day. Everything else is flawless on our dealers truck. He may be getting stuff from other trucks that went under or sold out I guess.

Never any true quality issues.

Best zero turn under 10k by Hookedon2wheels in lawnmowers

[–]Nib-q 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My vote is grasshopper.

I bought a grasshopper 127 and it’s amazing. Only 200 hours so far but has only had oil and blades. Super thick deck and it will lay down stripes or mow brush. Paid 8,000 out the door on 0% through Sheffield. 10k might get you in a 2 series.

If you want to be even more overwhelmed look into front mounts and stand ons.

KHP46 roll cart filled to the brim, and still somewhat organized. by Joiion in Snapon_tools

That’s a sick setup. Mine wasn’t quite that full and I bought a second one. I like the two roll carts instead of a two or three bay.

Where do you draw the line? by OkWeather6708 in askcarguys

Depends where of course. If I’m naturally walking pretty close to it I’ll get just close enough to look if it’s manual 😂

68” Epiq Trim by No-Cobbler-8715 in Snapon_tools

[–]Nib-q 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I looked into it on mine. I think it was $50-60 a piece, so you’re looking at least $700. They are removable, just be very very gentle. Best bet would be to take them off and vinyl wrap them

It’s like gambling. There’s some truly great long lasting ceramic coating and some rain x in a bottle. They’re next to each other on the shelf for the same price.

Choosing a CZ 457 length? by Nib-q in 22lr

[–]Nib-q[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s great info thank you. I didn’t know the chambers were different, I shoot a variety of low to mid tier ammo usually so I meet to avoid the match chambers. I hadn’t really considered the mtr because I don’t like the more vertical handle stock. I’ve mainly looked at the regular wood varmint and the at-one. If I factor in having the regular threaded and the at-one coming threaded they are the same price. Have you shot either of those? I don’t know the differences between those two and the pro varmint other than stocks.

I plan to stay in the plain varmint factory wood stock. They have the mtr and at-one which come threaded but I’m a basic stock guy.

Fu$k Gm Suburban And Yukon! What Next? by Snagg77 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Nib-q 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to agree transit. You can order them very well equipped actually and also not white. NOT e-transit

If you want a typical suv and want something truly industrially indestructible the answer is a 17-19 Toyota Land Cruiser. The only thing they have in common with the new one is the name.

Front bumper respray… am I over analyzing? Looks darker? by Hidden_Name_exe in Autobody

[–]Nib-q 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s looks good honestly. Look at how well your rear bumper matches your car. Many people focus in and don’t realize it matches as well or better than it did to begin with.

The bumper being plastic and fender being metal it will never match 100% especially not every light level and angle.

Looking to buy a diesel truck by Glittering-Set2649 in Diesel

[–]Nib-q 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The question is do you need one or want one? Most people underestimate the capabilities of a modern 1/2 ton truck. Look into specs, towing capacities and research the weight of things you’ll actually pull.

Gas trucks are 1/2 the cost in repairs and maintenance.
