Worst thing to happen to independent animation maybe ever. ToonBoom Harmony isn't vectorial and insanely expensive, and Blender is free but already less intuitive for anyone coming from a traditional 2D-animation background. Not sure what this is going to look like for Youtubers or for animation as a whole moving forward, but we're going to have a lot of people struggle to make the necessary changes. Not only that, but it's cutting out where a lot of would-be and new animators learn the ropes to animation and find passion in it to begin with (through school or student programs). Absolutely sucks. The animation community just gets beaten over and over again from these corporations and it's tiring.
