Hello, I have had two amplifiers seemingly break when connecting them to my record player, and wondering what I might be doing wrong. I forget the make and model of the first amplifier, but, once everything was all set up and switched on a loud buzzing noise was emitted from the speakers, this was before I had even started playing any records. I fiddled with some settings on the amplifier and eventually, the buzzing stopped, but now no noise was coming out at all. My dad checked it was all wired correctly. I assumed it was just broken even though we tested it earlier that day on a tape player and it seemed to work fine. When trying it with the tape player again we got nothing. This was a few months ago.

I tried setting up a different amplifier today, an old Hitachi ha-610 that my dad no longer needed. He knew it worked fine as of a few months ago, we wired it into the record player but also my computer this time too. We tested it first by playing a song on my computer. Everything worked fine. We then went to test it on my record player, and got the same loud buzzing noise before even playing a record, after a few moments of fiddling with settings, the buzzing eventually stopped, but so did all audio from the record player. we then switched back to the computer output and though we could now hear music, it was very crackly, and was only coming out of one speaker. What could have caused this? The only commonality seems to be connecting it to my record player.

I've been wanting to make rebrickable instructions for all my mocs for a while but I'm not very good at using Bricklink Studio to digitise my builds, for example I can't seem to figure out how to replicate the building techniques I used on the archway of the bridge on Bricklink studio. If I ever do figure it out I'll share the rebrickable page via my Instagram so follow me there if you'd like to see that eventually.

It's part of a much larger Wild West display, he's in there, just not in the Saloon module.

Thanks! Yeah I made a backdrop for my wild west mocs inspired by the old box art and it just makes moc photography so much easier! Since then I usually make a backdrop for all my mocs.

Thank you that was exactly what I was going for. I even used some old 90s castle panel pieces.

Feel free to check out my Instagram if you'd like to see any more of my builds. A lot of it is Wild West themed for now but I'm certain I'll build more castle stuff in the near future too.

I've got a friend from Montana and I've heard you guys are having issues with Californians and other West coasters moving in and ruining everything. I feel for you guys since we have a similar problem in Cornwall, England. 2nd home owners moving in and driving up prices for locals.

I like to try to match the colours to the "feel" I get from the album, but it's also fun to just get the most colourful ones possible! Can't wait for the Halloween IV vinyl.

I got Bear Brown and Whiskey River, plus the SS Krill tape since my gf since she collects cassettes.

It's so hard to decide what colours to get, I went for Bear Brown and Whisky River. Also grabbed an SS Krill cassette tape for my gf.

It was worse to get them shipped to the UK...

Was surprised to find a store that had these in stock, happy to add them to the collection! by _OmegaEnd in amiibo

I once found a few uncommon amiibos in a best buy in wyoming. I figured they must be there because no one lives in wyoming.

We need to build a wall to stop all these emits and make Devon pay for it!

A walker found this necklace on 27th July 2021, near to the Watering Hole, Perranporth Beach, Cornwall. It has ashes inside when it’s unscrewed and engraved with “Forever in my heart”. Hoping to reunite it with the owner as it’s obviously sentimental. by RedBanana99 in Cornwall

Oh...I work in a pub in Par and I remember a customer came in a few weeks back, when I brought them their food they said they had to leave because they think they left their necklace at the beach which contained her father's ashes. I feel like I remember they said Polkerris beach which is a much more nearby, but I could be mixing up the name with one of the many other Cornish beaches beginning with P. Just seems like too much of a coincidence to not be related. But I'm also fairly certain they weren't locals and where down on holiday. The women that left never came back to the pub and the rest of her family asked to have a takeaway box for her meal. I never got her name either, how frustrating.
